Ibis Hotel (Chengdu Taikoo Li Chunxi Road)

Excellent location. Walking distance to IFS, Tai Koo Li.. But we took the bicycles.. Such convenience.. We even night cycle to 九眼桥。 Many Cafe and restaurants and street food available outside hotel too. The 冰粉 stalls was really nice FRONT DESK was very helpful. SELF LAUNDRY provided.. Washer n dryer very efficient.. Came home with no dirty laundry..

Location : 8/10 Not too far from Chunxi lu but also not that close. There’s food stall In front of the hotel which is good especially when you arrive late at night. Breakfast : 7/10 The hotel can do better but it’s okay compared to other hotel’s breakfast. Service : 6/10 it’s fine but nothing special. It would be better if the staff could speak English considering it’s Ibis however it’s fine.

The front desk spoke very little English. There was only one person there that was able to Communicate with me in English but that is fine. I don’t expect them to speak all languages so I just use a translator app when needed. Although the staff didn’t speak English, they were all very helpful. After the first night stay, my room wasn’t cleaned which I had to mention twice to reception. The room also had this really damp and strange smell unless I kept the AC on all day which is difficult because once you take the room card out, the entire room electricity shut down so you always return to the room with that kind of strange dampy smell. Wifi was pretty much non-existent so that was pretty annoying. I used up all the data of the SIM card I got for a weeks trip just before my trip ended so I was going on for 1.5 days without data and that caused a lot of inconvenience. The shampoo was not checked and refilled, it was running very low and housekeeping did not refill at all, I had to take it out of shower and leave it on sink for them to notice to refill. It was a very close short walk to Chunxi Road so the location was great. Overall, apart from these issues, it was a satisfactory stay but I don’t think I would stay again

Im indonesian chinese with 6 people in family. We stayed 2 standard rooms, their breakfast is western and chinese choice with fruits and cereal, suitable for kids and old people too. And they are not strict with the people go in. Then the things so help us are their washing machine and drying machine seperately and freely for us to wash our dress, small sports area. The other cute things are their hotel prepare 2 robbots for delivery which could be able to take lift and go our room then making a call to our room table phone, then we open the door, the robbots ready delivered our necessaries. Every day, my daughter asked for kids gift from them, they offer diff gift for her and the last day, the gave panda doll, my daughter feel so happy with them.

Perfect room and facilities but quite far from the centre by foot.However, if you take taxi that very convenience. Opposite the hotel are good also have a street food, convenience store(7-11) and drug store.
