We stayed at Skytel Hotel Chengdu and were genuinely impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the room; spotless, modern, and well-maintained. A surprising highlight was the delivery robot! It brought us bottled water and takeout right to our door. It is very efficient and fun to watch.
The staff were incredibly helpful, especially in advising us to take the direct train from Chengdu South (Chengdunan) Station to Tianfu Airport Terminal 1 & 2 which cost only 20 yuan per person and super convenient. Definitely better than taking a cab during rush hour!
There is a mall nearby, worth visiting if you have time to explore or grab a quick bite.
One thing to note: walking from Chengdunan station to Skytel can be quite a distance, especially if you’re carrying luggage. Think twice, a quick ride-share or Didi might save you time and energy.
Overall, if you value comfort, service, and affordability over being in the heart of the city centre, this hotel is an excellent choice. Would gladly return!

The people is what made this hotel amazing. The hotel is far from major shopping areas and sites except for the occasional dairy so you have to take the taxi to see a lot of your favourite tourist attractions, taxi fares are really cheap to get you anywhere in a huge country. Overall a good stay.

Great hotel! The service was really good. Easy and smooth check-in and check-out procedures. The room was large, quiet, and comfortable. The shower temp and pressure was good. WiFi was good. TV was basic Chinese channels, no options for movies or VIP plans. A little far to the metro (16-18 minute walk) but doable. If we come back to Chengdu, we will definitely look at staying at Skytel Hotel again. 😎

The location sort of near to railway station which got express train directly to the airport. Walking will take about 20min. It's better to take a didi to the railway station H1 entrance, which really you need to walk less than 3min.

Professional hotel. Location near metro (express line to the airport). The stuffs speak english and friendly. Recommend for the early flight.

Room was comfortable and service prompt. Sound proofing could be better, especially the street noise. Breakfast with many options, also for Western tourists. Location was not ideal. Long walk to south railway station as you have to walk around closed areas.

We had clean room. Very generous and helpful staff that help us in communication and dealing with many issues. Good location. We had breakfast and succeeded to find some dishes more suitable for western taste.
