The Hidden House (Cheng Du Kuanzhai Alley People's Park Subway Station Branch)

Super cute hotel with a great location and amazing staff! The room was spacious and clean with a great atmosphere, and the terrace was very nice as well. The garden is beautiful and perfect for an afternoon tea. The staff was especially great, super friendly and helpful! I felt at home right away and will definitely be back!

The hidden house is indeed pretty hidden but the hotel's atmosphere is serene. It has a very nice garden near the reception where you can enjoy tea and snacks. The room itself is a bit small but comfortable. The service is really good as the 'butler' will reply to your request via WeChat almost immediately. It's amazing! It also has a robot that will send things to your room such as the food that you ordered via the delivery service. One commendable thing is that the hotel is willing to provide us with their local number to order food delivery (foreigners won't be able to order without a local number). For this I will give their service more than 5 stars! Location wise, it's still okay - about 10 minutes walk to Chun xi road and Kuai Zhai alley. However, try to explore the neighbourhood and you can find cafes selling very good coffee. One of them is Piccolo just at the corner. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Hidden House and will definitely go back again! :)

Room size is big but feels small as the toom is sectioned into different areas. Still very comfortable to sleep in. Not noisy as all even though room was on the second floor. Receptionists are really friendly and nice. They have a free courtesy car service that guests can use, 1 day advanced booking required. There’s also a free photo taking session at the hotel’s courtyard that we didn’t managed to utilise

We stayed one night, and then cancelled the rest of our stay. The room felt old, sheets were dirty, and there was hair under the blanket. The space was too small to open our luggage. The toilet and shower area had a see-through divider. I didn’t like the automatic voice call telling me to answer the door - it was just a robot delivering fruit snacks. There was also a dark, open stairway near our room that felt unsafe at night. We saw only good reviews, but for this price, I expected better cleanliness and safety. For 20SGD more, we stayed somewhere much more comfortable.

Location is near to people’s park. All the staff very nice and welcoming. The room big and clean. Breakfast pretty good. Not buffet style. Every night order in for supper and the food was send by hotel robot. Pretty cool. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.
