A very unique hotel, the main entrance is very small, lobby at 8th floor. We arrived at main entrance need to carry luggages a few steps with no slope, otherwise all are good. Breakfast limited choice but the noodles are good. Each level has own washing machine (2 washers) and 1 dryer. Everyday got free eatery from 2pm - 10.30pm (choose 3 for free from the menu, only can dine in at their restaurant). Food are good. And our daughter is also given a free panda upon Check-out. Thankyous.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The neighbourhood has many food options and is walking distance to Kuanzhai Alley. The hotel's service was great too (accommodated our request to store our luggage ahead of our check in when we did a side trip out of Chengdu.) The complimentary 小吃 was very tasty and we enjoyed making tea with the 盖碗 tea set in the room. Thank you to wonderful staff 小宋，小奇，小汐，小雷，小李 and 阿姨 for their attentiveness and care.

The location is not near any train station, which makes getting around a bit inconvenient without a taxi or bus. However, the service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good amenities. While I didn’t use the hotel facilities, they appeared well-maintained. Overall, a great stay despite the location issue.

Room is clean and tidy. I lose my id card in the hotel, and staff was so nice to help me contact police and arrange cleaning staff to find it for me. Thank you for the help

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Room is very nice and zen, everything is clean and nice. Warm and friendly welcome from the staff, 小唐，小何，小雷。Breakfast spread is also extensive and very worth getting. My family used didi often, so cannot really speak about the ease of public transport. It is near the chunxi road/IFS The only thing that could be better is to have a bidet in the toilet. Overall: 4.9/5 stars and would stay here again the next time we visit.

SUCH A NICE HOTEL! the staff are extremely welcoming and nice (小宋，小林) and the ambience of the room is even nicer in real life, wood table with 2 chairs and a authentic tea set, sliding wood door to an exquisite bathroom. if I ever go back to chengdu, would 10000% stay at jian shan tang again!!!! even the food delivery was easy to work with (send to lobby, a robot will then deliver to the room direct! safe and efficient) loveeeeee

This is a very clean hotel in a great location. The service is great. The front desk beauties are super friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

We really love every single detail of this hotel. The welcome snacks are delicious. The space interior is spacious. Taxi to Chunxi rd. is cheap. Highly recommend.

Hotel in resident area so there are local shops around but not very near (walkable) . The entrance, maybe a bit hard to find at first time. Love for free self laundry service and supper. Breakfast is variety and delicious (the taste is better than some branded chain hotel)

Great hotel. The entrance was a little strange and located in an alleyway. Other than that, the service was excellent, and the room was clean and pretty. The hotel has great perks and offers free food, and even gave us a panda stuffed animal. It really made my time in Chengdu enjoyable.

The location is not close to any metro stations but there are two bus stations which can take you straight to attractions like KuanZhai Alley, People’s Park and Chunxi Road. The breakfast lacks variety but is tasty, service is also great as well. If you do not mind not staying in proximity to metro station, I would recommend this hotel.

Jian ShanTang is surprisingly clean and comfy. We have had a wonderful stay in this hotel for 5 days. Highly recommend to those looking for exceptional quality hotel in China
