Not the best hotel it was not very clean either but it was the closest one 🫤

This place looks nice from the outside. The room carpet needs to be replaced. Smears and yuk on the floor. Hot was cold and cold was hot. It had two large beetles I had to kill. It really was not prepared for stay. The blanket on the bed had cigarette burns. There were cobwebs handling from the wall and the ceiling was peeling in the bathroom. The Attendant at the desk was very kind. I would not book this hotel again.

Lazy staff, talking on personal call checking in, won't deliver pillows had to get myself. Cigarette holes and blood stains on bedding. No way to use bath or shower. No soap, smelled of really bad cigars. No breakfast. Heating and cooling unit older than I am, 60yrs. Disgusting 🫣.

Stayed here as we were traveling and wanted to visit fort mountain state park and a few other parks in area on our way to FL. Not a bad hotel for the price. Apparently I booked a smoking room not knowing it. The hotel called me The day before to confirm I wanted a Smoking room. I said I did not want smoking but he said they were all sold out as there was an event in town. Arrived and was given room 122, no smell Of smoke. Room was clean, beds were comfy and high water pressure in shower. Breakfast was very very minimal. Pool was covered and closed for season. Check in lady was very nice. I think she moved us to a nonsmoking room as there was no smoke Smell.

Breakfast was only bread and it was very stale. The pool is permanently closed. The rooms were outdated and beds were uncomfortable. The faucet in the shower was broken and loose. There was bird poop.

Lady at check in was very rude. Even more rude when I told her I had my cat. She told me $10for cat. After I left the property my card was charged $50 for my cat! Huge roaches as soon as I opened the door.

Friendly proprietor made me feel welcoe. Very clean room with lots of hot water and lots of water pressure for the shower. Soda machine empty. Pool is closed. Convenient gas station and store across the street

Very clean rooms and staff is wonderful. They rooms are renovated and very nice. We were at a Kevin Zadai conference in Dalton Georgia and this was about half an hour away but the value and room quality made the extra drive worth it. We will return and stay again with this location.
