Access to the picturesque campground is via an unpaved road. The RV sites face the South Thomson River, which runs into the Little Shuswap Lake. Sites have electricity and water laid on but lack a sani-dump. The site would benefit from at least having a central dump point such as is found on other sites. It is situated about 40 minutes drive from Kamloops. The railway runs on the other side of the river but this didn't disturb us in the slightest.

The is a railway on the other side of the lake but this didn't disturb us at all
