location is good and very clean

Where to start?? My company books a large block of rooms every 3 months in this immediate vicinity & our regular hotels were mostly booked so landed on this one...will go out of our way NOT to choose this one in the future. Some of the issues: - Rooms weren't ready upon arrival, some of us well after 4pm even for those that checked in early via the app. Mine was ready when I checked in but the cleaning crew was still frantically at work on my whole floor. HIRE MORE PEOPLE! Also I didn't get the room I requested & paid for. Instead of a king bed I got 2 doubles. Annoying. - Some of us were checked into rooms that hadn't been cleaned at all: trash in the bins, urine on toilet seats, dirty towels. Mine was clean but the liners were inserted into the trash bins, they were just thrown on top for ME to do myself?? - COCKROACHES IN THE ROOMS!! - Fairly trivial thing but the TV experience was horrible. There aren't apps on the TVs, you have to connect your personal phone to the public, unsecured hotel wifi, then connect to the TV with the Hyatt app, then open the app you want to use (Netflix, etc) on your phone & start/pause/stop from your device. The connection is so spotty that it constantly freezes & disconnects so my 1 hour show took 2 hours to watch. Brutal. These issues were all shared with our VERY LARGE company's leadership & we will no longer be booking multiple rooms for multiple days every 3 months here. We are going back to the Hilton or the newer Hampden/Tru & Springhill just a couple miles north of here.

This hotel has become sad. We have stayed here over 100 times but this will have become our last. They threw some paint on a outdated worn out hotel and call it refurbished. It is not. They removed the kitchens even the microwave. Ice maker only on top floor. Started charging for parking even though they are beside a 2000 car free parking lot. Staff doesn't care at all about the hotel or the guests.

Roaches in the room and bugs in the shower/sink. Fridge was filthy. Cushions were sticky to couch. Internet boxes just laying out in the room. Trash liners not even in the trash can, but just laying there. Overall this was a horrible experience.

The property was nice and in a good location to get to places such as Steak 48 or Bar One. The room was clean upon arrival though some aestitics could be enhanced. I would stay again.

Everyone here is always professional and friendly. Obvious the staff enjoys working here and they make your stay very welcoming.

We loved our room. However, the checkin and checkout with the front desk staff (same woman) was horrible. She was so rude and acted as if us being there was an inconvenience to her. She was so rude we almost felt uncomfortable staying there. We won’t be back to this hotel.

So no where does it say on the hotel website that you will have to pay for parking.... News flash, they have a third party company that's only purpose is to generate revenue, patrolling the parking lots at night. QR codes are everywhere informing you that you have to pay for parking, however nothing will be mentioned on the hotel website. I asked about this at the hotel and they said it's been in place since January and no one likes it. No one has bothered to negotiate rates with the 3rd party company nor can your parking be validated....on top of parking, you will then incur a service fee for the privilege of using their online system to pay them.... There is no contact information available and when you try to connect to talk with anyone they say they will get back to you online however it's been 5 days since my stay and no contact from this parking company. They will tow you and ticket you. I get in downtown areas etc.... however this hotel use to not have this in place it is a regular hotel in a business park with ample parking and no issues. The hotel itself is extremely dated. The one working elevator is sketchy at best, I read another review on here from much earlier this year and it seems like some one else experienced the same things. Personally, I will not be staying at this hotel again as there are some much better options around. I'm down in Charlotte at least 1-2 times a month and there are much better places given the price point there than this place.

On July 10th, I booked this hotel through ******* and was charged on my credit card. I showed up at the hotel, and was very flippantly told by the front desk attendant that “we are sold out”. I said “I have a reservation from *******.” The response was “that doesn’t matter, we have been sold out since this morning”. I said, “here is my confirmation number.” I was told “that doesn’t matter, we are now sold out”. This cost me a $50 taxi ride. My card was also charged. I called Wyndham support (it is very hard to call the hotel directly) and before the Wyndham attendant would even hear what the issue was, wanted to ask me to sign up for Wyndham rewards. It was so bad, it was comical. I ask in good faith how can I trust this hotel and Wyndham in general for a reservation if things like this happen?

Most of the staff were friendly and very welcoming! Eventually, it felt like family. The cleaning staff and some of thd front end staff were amazing.

Room was clean, check in was quick . Staff was friendly and informative. They are pet friendly. Have an elevator to get to the higher floors

We used Hyatt Lakepoint for an overnight layover. The shuttle picked us up within 15 minutes, it was a 15 minute drive to the hotel, and upon arrival we were welcomed to a newly remodeled hotel. The rims were large and super clean the bathroom might be a little tight if you are morbidly obese but we had no problem. Overall, I thought the hotel was fantastic and would certainly visit again. We had a great night sleep. The bed was super comfortable.
