Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Charlestown

Great value compared to other hotels in greater Louisville area..Very quiet and safe location.Excellent beds and typical free breakfast.Small issue with billing while checking in,..but,...was (hopefully) resolved by morning desk clerk.

This hotel was very clean and very quiet, easy to locate, with ample parking. We stayed on the 2nd floor, and two short flights of stairs made access to our room very easy. We did have to wait several minutes for someone to come to the front desk and check us in. There was a phone on the counter requesting that I pick it up and call for service. This made me a bit uncomfortable due to the 'germ factor' of every patron using that phone along with service staff. Then when we checked out again there was no staff at the front desk, and I attempted to use the phone to 'call for service' but the phone was not actually working. Again, it took several minutes for staff to arrive at the desk in order to check me out and print my receipt. One thing to be aware of...a sign on the front desk states that there is a charge of $2 for use of the in-room safe. You can request a refund for not using the safe, which seems strange to me that a hotel would just charge that fee and most people would not even pay attention to the sign or request the refund. All in all it was a pleasant stay and we will book again when we return to the area, but there seems to be some staffing issues. Maybe they were short-handed on this particular weekend October 11-12, 2024.

Very pleasant experience for a hotel atmosphere. Only minor issues were a screachy loud bathroom fan, breakfast that really should extend to 9:30 am, and increase staff as it appeared to be bare bones. The cost for 2 single king bed rooms were very reasonable.

They put us in a room with clogged shower drain and no cable TV. They admitted they knew about it yet showed me notes on a bunch of rooms that needed maintenance that was not getting done. They moved us, yet the manager offered no apology. They had only one luggage cart and the upright poles came right out of the holes when pushed. Again, "the manager knows about it". The next morning, plenty of cereal and no milk. Again, "the manager was told yesterday but didn't get any milk". We will most likely never stay at a Cobblestone again.

I was staying at the hotel with my mom for a couple of days following a partial knee replacement. The hotel did everything they could to help. My mom uses a walker and they made sure we were able to get a room that had a roll in shower. It was awesome that the room was located on the first floor not far from the lobby, snacks, and ice machine. The room was set up well for handicapped people. The furniture placement was perfect and made moving easy. Once I was able to be picked up by an other family member and my mom spent an additional night resting there after carrying for me. The next morning she needed to be able to load her things into her car. This is difficult when you are alone and handicapped. The staff there went out of their way to help her take her bags to her car and load them into it. While there the rooms were quiet and well maintained. The doors for each room were heavy and gave you feeling of safety that you often don’t feel at other hotels. I can’t say enough about how much this hotel offered us on what was a difficult stay to begin with.

We will stay here again! Staff was very helpful! Motel was clean! Location was convenient to family visit. Great to see a good coffee in lobby & room! This survey is asking a lot, takes to much time to come up with two hundred characters to complete.

It’s suppose to be non smoking , either the room beside of us was smoking or the room in from of us was. You could smell it all night. It stinks. People should abide by rules. If your gonna smoke you are suppose to do it out side , and these people definitely. Food was good though

It would have been beneficial to conduct thorough research on hotels in the area beforehand. The hotel provided subpar service. Our room was located near a construction site where workers were loitering by the entrance, causing us to feel unsafe. Additionally, there were no elevators, so it is not advisable to book a room on the second floor if you have heavy luggage. The breakfast offered was unappetizing and lacked flavor. We will not be returning to this establishment.

Meticulously clean and extremely comfortable room suite for my stay. Tiny luxurious touches throughout with a simple hot breakfast bar. I would definitely stay here again because it was good value for the package. Staff was helpful and friendly.
