Wonderful customer service and amazing inn. We have stayed at many similar settings and 86 Cannon would rank right at the top. Great recommendations for dining and we loved using the house bikes for touring. Looking forward to next time. Evangeline and Lizzy were charming hosts.

So happy we chose 86 Cannon of all the hotels in Charleston! What makes this 10 room boutique hotel so special is the thoughtful, attentive staff, the lush palm tree lined courtyard & fountains, salt water pool & lounge chairs, cozy beds & luxurious garden suite (thank you for the upgrade), champagne toast, afternoon wine & cheese, & a curated list of places to dine (we enjoyed evening walks) and to visit. Each evening lanterns are lit along the paths & chocolates are placed on guest doors. A very special place!

We stayed for 4 nights on our way home from a month in Key West. We really enjoyed Charleston and 85 Cannon was a convenient walk to the center of town yet located in a developing neighborhood away from the traffic and city noise. The breakfasts were delightful and included quiche, homemade yogurt, very fresh berries, coffee, tea and hard boiled eggs and also an earthy bread for toast. There was also fresh juice in hand filled bottles for individual portions. A nice addition were national and local newspapers. We stayed in a garden suite which was very spacious and the bed was a wonderful luxury. Our room included a mini fridge and both a coffee maker and a hot water maker for tea. Bottled water was also provided. Hosts were very helpful either making reservations or recommendations for dining or activities. We read about 85 Cannon on Afar a great travel site focused on getting you closer to the less touristy side of a destination. The facility was spotless and very sanitary. We were very happy with our stay. No elevator, but there are first floor accommodations. We highly recommend 85 Cannon.

I had the good fortune of staying at 86 Cannon in March of this year. Well I must say, I travel the world and the quality of finish of their linens was exceptional. Let me revise that, beyond exceptional. Sheets and pillow cases were crisply ironed, terry was soft and bright and I loved the lovely robe provided. Although for travelers with girlish figures like mine (not) it was a tad too tight. Pool was in the works at the time but not complete yet. Next visit, I am hanging out at the pool in my robe while sipping a Pina Colada and enjoying the Steel Drum Band I was promised.

We loved our recent stay at 86 Cannon. We stayed in the Bungalow Suite which was spacious, private and quiet. The suites and the surrounding property are all beautifully designed and maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and the Wine and Cheese Hours. The staff were all so pleasant and so helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting Lori, the owner, during our stay and she couldn’t have been friendlier. We highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel.

Charming. Friendly. So so comfortable. Thank you for having me! I was attending a wedding and your beautiful hotel kept me well rested and was my first glimpse of what a wonderful weekend it was going to be. Great location. Hang on the porch, by the pool, in your room! Easy walk to EVERYTHING!

The hotel was extremely charming and the rooms were well appointed with luxurious linens. The bed was so comfortable I kept asking my husband to get me those pillows. The breakfast HH are a nice touch. The staff was extremely friendly and we loved the ability to borrow the bikes! We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely space. Felt like it was a safe haven from the hectic nature of Charleston during spring break. Pool was lovely. Courtyard was peaceful. Access to clean water, yummy breakfast, nespresso in room! Will definitely go back! Thank you to the amazing staff!

Had a wonderful stay at 86 Cannon after booking last minute due to issues with another hotel. Staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially on short notice. Beautiful rooms and common spaces. Neighborhood is in a great, central location, with lots of food and drink options nearby. Look forward to staying at 86 Cannon again soon!
