Well renovated hotel. The room is BIG and clean. Comes with the latest toilet bowl with washing functions. There's a massage chair for the guests. Walking distance to the famous walking street. Plenty of food choices nearby. Strongly recommended.

Not too bad and located in a pretty quiet spot but easy to get arnd. Near Ancestral Temple and it's surrounding food & mall.
There's also a laundry room with washers & dryers. Front desk ladies are all very helpful & cheerful

Spacious rooms with massage chair. Check-in is a breeze. Breakfast is affordable at 15 yuan. Plenty of eateries across the main road.

Very high technology at every room with voice command to turn on/off light, TV, air conditioner. Ready with massage chair at every single room. Comfortable king size bed with warm bed sheet. Are good quality-price ratio.

The room is ordinary. But it was good of the hotel to provide complimentary soft drinks in addition to mineral water.
The breakfeast buffet was good for the price of 15 RMB.
Overall, the hotel is still good value for money.

The Hotel is about 2 km away from the old quarter. In addition the front desk counter staff are not friendly and least helpful. They are more focused in surfing their hand phone.

Though the Lan'ou hotel is about 2km away to the Paifang pedestrian street, it's an enjoyable walk to the centre of attractions where one gets to see the many sights of ancient Chaozhou. It's an essential part of visiting any city on foot. There are many eateries and shops along the way and you can sample them, and that's the fun part!
Our room has all the amenities except for a fridge where we can store our beer. It's even equipped with fire escape masks and bathrobes which we don't need.
