Hotel Stay from May 27th-June 2nd Room types; 1- King, suite with kitchenette, handicapped 2- 2 queen suite rooms After meeting with the owner and actual manager of the hotel, I struggled with writing this review because, for the most part, the staff was very friendly and understanding of the MANY issues the hotel had. But I feel like if issues are not spoken about, they will never be fixed. This review will be long and detailed. Firstly CALL THE HOTEL ABOUT YOUR RESERVATION! I booked online through the hotel's website and the hotel had different prices/ confirmations. We had a hard time insuring the reservations were in place. When I first called I spoke to the manager of the hotel who was super attentive and ensured everything was taken care of. The next time I called was 4 days before our week-long stay and the staff member I got on the phone was very rushed and seemed to be very overwhelmed to the point I had to tell them I felt they were pushing me off the phone and were not listening to my issues. After MANY calls and texts back and forth the reservation was confirmed. I thanked her for her help, and I was reminded that I should mention her by name in my 5-star review of the hotel...I will not be mentioning her name... The host website was not syncing to the hotel ( Not their problem but the host hotel's website.) Unfortunately, I wish I could say it went uphill but there were a lot of issues. The first hostess who checked us in was very frazzled and seemed over her head, the 2nd one (whom I will name later) Was trying to do her job but it seemed the other was trying to handle everything on their own. Jumping in front of the 2nd hostess constantly. The hotel was FULLY booked for this day. We checked in at 3:10. My family went upstairs I followed but realized one of the keys for the 2nd queen room did not work so I sent them in and went back downstairs. I waited for 15 min before I saw the main hostess again, but this time instead of assisting me, I was pulled into a conversation about how the other hostess was rude to her, and how she was no longer going to help her with customers and I quote " She called me sis, I am not her sis, I am her BOSS. I am not helping her. She can help you with your key. I am leaving. " Then she left me at the counter and walked to the elevators. This was SUPER unprofessional and I was honestly surprised. The 2nd hostess returned and was very quick to help me. I FINALLY got into my room and started to unpack my family of five. While sitting on the floor I realized our room had not been vacuumed and there was trash on the floor. I pulled the beds to check. Thankfully they were clean. The bathroom tub was full of small hairs ( *****). our sofa looked like it had been covered in body fluids..( I covered it with multiple sheets.)( room 306) I was already on edge but at this point, I was so done.
