Yiju 1983 Hotel (Wuyi Square IFS International Financial Center)

Location is very good. Near to 五一 and 黄兴路. Service of the staff is very good.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hotel was clean with an amazing location, close to transport, shopping and entertainment. The service provided made our trip in Changsha so memorable, we were greeted with a smiling face everyday, coffee service with unlimited water bottles, free laundry service, everything was a wechat message away. And not to mention the Smart Control function on the room was fun to use. Will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Changsha.

This hotel was the best hotel I stayed in throughout my holiday in China. Unfortunately, I stayed here only for 1 night. The people working at the reception were friendly and helpful. If you have any questions, you can contact them via Wechat. The room was already ready when we checked in so the lights and aircon was on when we entered the room. You can use AI smart control 小度 to control switches or perform various tasks. The beds were comfortable and location is good. It's walking distance from the subway station and various food/shopping streets in the city. The hotel uses Laifen hairdryer, it was so good that I'm thinking of getting one for myself. The welcome snacks were a nice touch and you can get coffee from the reception area.

In the shopping area, nearby Taiping street Pozi street and Huangxing Smart room is so fun and very helpful staff

The main reason we chose this hotel was it’s excellent location (near to the major shopping malls Wangfujing, IFS mall and the famous Taiping street) and after reading several of its positive reviews by the guests. However since the hotel is located in the busy area, the road leading to the hotel was not accessible by car after 8 pm. As such our taxi driver had to stop us a little distance away. So please bear in mind this accessibility issue after 8 pm.. The hotel is located on the fifth floor of a building shared by other businesses. The lifts were old and small. Nevertheless all the initial disappointment faded away upon reaching the hotel. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The room was a pleasant surprise. It was neat, clean with many unexpected features unlike other hotels of the same category. Facilities are modern, complete and the room well lighted. The bathroom is comfortable, with automated heated toilet seat, and powerful shower facility. Another good feature is the wash basin located outside the toilet. There is also a Laifen hairdryer and even a projector. The service was exceptional with very friendly and helpful staff always offering additional drinking water and providing free laundry service, a highly appreciated

I love this hotel. From location, service, amenities, cleanliness and comfort. However, if I have to nitpick, I can't appreciate the colour choice of the bathroom and one of the rooms I booked - it's too dark to my liking. The ventilator also didn't seem to work or too weak. Hotel provides free flow of coffee 24/7 but you need to place your order via Wechat or at the front desk and they will bring it to your room. While it is convenient for guests, I think it will be tiring for the staff. Perhaps can consider placing a self serve coffee machine somewhere. They also provide free laundry service which is awesome. The hotel is located on level 5 of an old building. The building lobby at level 1 and the elevators are pretty old and dirty. There is also a sex toy(?) shop and a snooker place there so the surrounding is not the best. Having said that, as long as the price remains competitive, I'd pick this hotel again if I ever visit Changsha again next time.
