Chandolin Boutique Hotel

we arrived in the afternoon, and as platinum member we can be upgraded to a suite and even 1 minute before i checked in i still can see the suite is available, however just i handled in my passport, the front desk girl asked her manager something and the manager shook her head then the suite disappeared. What's more, we are arrange the worst room in the hotel room is 107, 1st floor without any privacy and facing the street and parking also with disability facilities. Even if the suite may be just sold 1 mins after we checked in, we are not the last one arrive the hotel but why gave us the worst room?

We were pleasantly impressed by this hotel, with a dream view from the terrace, from the restaurant, but also from the room. The staff is very friendly and professional. Congratulations to the General Manager and the entire staff: waiters, chefs, reception and cleaning. I can say that I travel a lot and recomand this hotel .

First of all, I have stayed at this hotel 3 different times in the past 4 years and always had a good experience. Then, this fall I made a booking through the Marriott Bonvoy app like I always do, which allows for cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival. When I canceled the booking 9 days prior, the hotel said it was not possible as they said their policy is that cancellations are long allowed up to 14 days prior to arrival. The demeanor of the staff in the email was very rude and when I showed them documentation that proved my case over several emails, the hotel manager made no attempt to help resolve, leaving me to have to contact Marriott, open a case number spending lots of time to do so. I also asked the hotel manager about rebooking for a later date that could work better for my family's timing and I was completely ignored, no response at all. In the end, Marriott could not confirm if the error was on their side or due to the hotel system but they made the hotel give me a refund. When I noticed there was a difference and did not get the full refund they said it was due to exchange rate, and they said that it was "not our fault". While this may be true, there was no apology or any acknowledgement for the financial loss, massive time waste and stressful hassle that I had to go through due to this. Regardless of whether it was Marriott's fault or theirs, you would expect a nicer level of service treatment from what I thought was a luxury hotel. Even in the context of a normal hotel or a hostel (or just a basic human interaction), the communications from Chandolin were extremely uncivil and dispiriting. Don't waste your money on being treated so rudely. I will not go back.

We so enjoyed our 5 day visit to Chandolin Boutique Hotel. Sophie (general mgr) and her staff are extremely friendly and professional. Mylene (front mgr) went out her way to make it an unforgettable stay! The hotel is immaculate and we were extremely happy in our cozy deluxe room. Loved the fact of storing everything below our bed. It is the small things that matter. Breakfast was our favorite and the view of the Alps was spectacular! Chandolin is a quaint village which we miss already!

Simply amazing! The team, the property, the experience, the mountains, the cuisine, the atmosphere, the stars, the room, the hospitality…no it wasn’t a dream…it’s Chandolin Boutique Hotel at 2000m. Thank you and we look forward to the next time!!!!

Very nice welcome. Superb food. Nice wine advice. Highly recommended if you want to hike in Chandolin.
