Water is typically turned back on in April. Unfortunately, we can't say exactly when in April as it truly depends on Mother Nature! Temperatures need to be above 40 degrees for multiple days before we can turn the water back on!While we are located in a neighborhood, cell phone service can be spotty. Tons of hiking & wildlife..On septic tank & well water- rules for use. Low door height & wonky stair treads. Old house charm!The spaceOur cottage is cozy, best for a couple, a small family or a few close friends. The living room w/fireplace, window bench, dining table, kitchen and washer/dryer are all on the first floor. Up our narrow staircase (watch your step!) you will first find our newly renovated bathroom. To the right, there is a large bedroom with a queen bed, writing desk, seating area dresser and closet. On the left, is a small bedroom that just fits a full size bed and dresser. Outside, we have a covered space with seating, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit.Other things to noteThere are a lot of black bears in the area. It’s really important that no food or garbage is left outside, including in cars. Trash should only go in our bear proof trash bin, securely closed.
