Welcome to the Lennon Cabin in the foot of the Catskills. Located in the hamlet of Smallwood in Bethel, NY. Home to the Wood Stock of 1969, Bethel has so much to enjoy! We are located 10 minutes from the Bethel Center of the Arts where you can enjoy one of their many concerts, 10 minutes from Lake Superior State park, White Lake (5min) and the Toronto Reservoir (5min) for lake swimming, kayaking, fishing and other water activities. In our private Hamlet our house is walking distance to our community Lake where you can take morning strolls, bike rides or sit by the doc. We also have our own reservoir trail that you can walk to from the house in addition to a dog park and children's play ground. 5 minutes away is the Alton Distillery located on beautiful grounds where you can enjoy their small batch Whiskey or a curated cocktail. 30 minutes away is the Catksill brewery and various downtowns with eclectic water front dining. We are 20 minutes from Kartrite indoor water park and close to many Alpaca farms as well as horseback riding. Come see all that the Lennon cabin has to offer. My wife and I have fully renovated the inside of the cabin, and have begun to update the exterior. A five minute drive to Resorts World Casino and Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests.The cell phone service is very weak when you first arrive at the cabin however, once you are connected to the Wi-Fi you should have capability to call and text. Please note this is a very old cabin, and while there is an efficent mini split unit to heat the space during the winter months, it does not heat like that of an apartment or new construction home (expect a comfortable 70 degrees).NOTE: Any early check-in or late check-out requests are not guaranteed and may not always be available.
