Area attractions include Grandfather Mountain, Lineville Falls and Caverns, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Appalachian Ski Resort, Tweetsie Railroad, Horn in the West Outdoor Drama, Blue Ridge Parkway, Moses Cone Craft Center. Enjoy dining, shopping, festivals, wineries, and music concerts in area towns, all within several miles: Boone (home of Appalachian University), Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk which hosts the popular Grandfather Mountain Highland Games and Woolly Worm Festival. The Chalet has a large deck with an outdoor picnic table, gas grill, outdoor gas firepit table, outdoor swing, Adirondack chairs with plenty of room for the entire family to relax and enjoy the beautiful views! Deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife have been spotted from the deck.The living room has an inviting gas logs fireplace with picnic dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. The Master bedroom has a private deck with an awesome view of Grandfather Mountain and a large king size bed. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, and the third bedroom has a full and two twin beds. All bedrooms have TVs. **Non-Smoking **Linens and Towels are provided**We are pet friendly.
