Just blocks from the public access, drop your boat and leave it parked safely at the large dock in front of the cabin. The channel protects your boat from the wind and waves without having to pull it off the lake each time you want to use it. Enjoy fishing off of the dock, as well as cruising up and down the channel. Just hop in your boat and scoot on out into premier Otter Tail Lake. There is plenty of parking room for vehicles, snowmobiles and trailers. The cabin features an open design kitchen and dining room. New kitchen appliances. Reverse osmosis installed for drinking water. Large dining table, and a living room area with a fire place and a 70" big screen TV. Enjoy the sunroom, or sit out around the campfire. Gas grill provided. About the Area:Located only a short distance from swimming areas, or take the boat out on the lake and anchor for a swim. Canoe/kayak/paddleboard rentals are available in the area (we do not supply these but they can be rented from nearby establishments). The sandy beach is literally steps from the cabin.The outdoor space in front of the cabin has a grill, fire pit, and an attached deck with outdoor dining and the entry to the cabin with a beautiful view of West Lost Lake.Upon entering the cabin you will first enter the main living area. This space is made up of the living room with a sectional couch and a smart TV that is open to the galley kitchen and indoor dining area.The kitchen is stocked with all common cooking utensils and kitchenware, including pots and pans, toaster, tea kettle, Keurig, and coffee pot.There are 3 bedrooms; one with a queen sized mattress and two small bedrooms with a full sized mattress. All bedrooms come stocked with linen and bedding. All bedrooms come with at least one nightstand but there are no dressers or closets in the bedrooms. There is one large dresser at the end of the hallway that all of the bedrooms are next to.There is one bathroom with a small shower which is stocked with linens, shampoo, soap, and toilet paper. There is no bathtub in this cabin.The Spruce is part of Twin Pine Resort. Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer, but this area is for laundry use only.The property offers a wooded, semi-secluded yard ideal for yard games, grilling, and relaxing evenings around the fire pit. There is plenty of parking near the cabin, as well as additional space near the pole barn for trailers, boats, or snowmobiles. An aluminum canoe is included for guest use. The private dock on the Marion Lake channel is located approximately 275 feet from the cabin down a gradual slope and includes foam bumpers to protect your boat. Constructed in 2024, Sybil Haus is a secluded, private retreat in the heart of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes. Sleeps 16 adults and we hope you rest well. The 3 king bedrooms have bathroom en suites. The other two bedrooms share a “jack and jill” bathroom. There is also a pull out queen sofa bed in the basement living area. And when you lay down in the primary suite, you’ll fall asleep looking at the Big Dipper out the window (or admire while sitting on the deck or pool area).Come to Sybil Haus to relax. First check out the steam shower, sauna and adjoining shower room. Take a dip in the pool (May 1 through October 31 and then hop in the spa overlooking the lake. Don’t forget to go to the gulley for lake access where you can enjoy the refreshing water, sunrises & sunsets on the dock, a sandy beach, and fire pit. Great for kids! The 30mi bike path is nearby, the apple orchard is just a walk away, and lots of folks bring their snowmobiles, boats and ice fishing shanties. Plenty to see and visit as well locally. Vergas - a town of 300 - invests in celebrations, parks and recreation, small businesses, and each other. For groceries, go to Ditterich Mercantile and Family Farm; grab a bag of their specialty popcorn. Duane is the owner and his kids work there too. Or pick up a Sybil Lake sweatshirt at The Lavish Loon and meet the owner there, Sarah. And buy your beer at Vergas Municipal Liquor Store, but make a pit stop at Billy’s (Corner Bar) first. FYI They host bingo on Thursdays at 7, and Sundays at 3, and their meat raffle is on Friday night.
