From the stone post and beam covered parking area that greets you upon arrival (large enough for several vehicles to park underneath), we hope you can truly feel the “love” that went into building this home. With its easy access right off the main road through Maggie Valley, 4 Loves is the perfect location if traveling by group on motorcycles or with trailers as the gentle paved drive comes directly to the home, through the carport. The wraparound driveway is completed with gravel to allow for easy egress as well.Your family will love the airiness of 4 Loves Lodge as you walk in the front door to the open living space. Large, overstuffed couches fill the living room as you are greeted by the custom stone fireplace with its hand-hewn mantle. Floor to ceiling windows let the light shine in, showing the majesty of the Smokies in the distance. This cabin offers a welcoming modern kitchen with all the comforts of home along with brand-new stainless-steel appliances, completed by the handmade octagon dining table that seats 12 persons comfortably and 16 people if you really like each other. The “big kids” hand hewn picnic style table is of the dining room and the “littles” smaller junior table is there as well. Both are perfect for dining or playing cards and games. Adjacent to indoor dining, you’ll step through the screened in porch for outdoor dining, that is connected to a massive outdoor deck, featuring Adirondack chairs and separate more intimate seating area under a covered alcove.Also on the main floor is the king master bedroom with full bath with tub/shower combo ensuite. The king bedroom opens to the covered alcove. Upstairs you’ll find two large bedrooms each including two twin beds. Each bedroom has a high window desk area complete with stools, perfect for laptop computer work or for an afternoon of reading and mountain gazing. A full bath with tub/shower combo en-suite accompanies both bedrooms.Moving downstairs to the bottom level, you find two bedrooms, (one king and one queen bed) each with triple twin bunk beds and full bath with tub/shower combo. Conveniently adjacent to the king bedroom is a small crib room for those with wee ones. On this level is a large game room with pool, ping pong, shuffleboard and foosball tables, and big screen TV to watch your favorite ball games. Step outside and find another space for open-air dining as well as another small seating area and of course, a large 6-person hot tub!This property provides a separate living space that we call the “She-Shed” just steps away from the main house giving a couple privacy or workspace. The She-Shed sleeps 2 and offers its own bathroom and dining table. The She Shed also has its own mini-fridge, Keurig coffeemaker and large screen TV. Spectrum Cable TV is available in the living room, game room and the She-Shed. High Speed Spectrum internet and Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and She-Shed. It is accessible also by travel van, but just ask the host for additional instructions to make it easier for you. For winter access, if it's snowing it is suggested that you have at least one 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle and all other vehicles can be parked on our private road below the cabin. In deep winter it is recommended that you frequently check the internet to stay informed of the weather and travel conditions. On rare occasions if there is a big snowstorm or ice conditions tire chains could be recommended, or arrive before or wait until after those conditions melt off before proceeding onto the roadways. The ability to get to and from the property is the responsibility of the guest and is not provided by the homeowner.Other things to noteOur other family cabin is down the mountain just 5 minutes with a more level access and covered parking. We made it larger than Serenity now that our family has expanded so 4 Loves Lodge main cabin is a 5 bed, 5 ½ bath log home that sleeps 22, with a separate efficiency that sleeps 2. If you have trailers, motorcycles, or extra-large vehicles or RV’s 4 Loves Lodge is a better alternative as it is lower, has covered parking and a very easy access off the main road.
