This one room dry cabin (no running water) is a rustic retreat in a beautiful setting on our property. Lots of light. It has electricity, WiFi, table & chairs, double bed, heat, ceiling fan, AC, picnic table, and a fantastic view. No running water, no kitchen, no bathroom. There is a clean portapotty near parking. Quiet hrs 9p-7a. A small porch is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful river valley and some peace and quiet! One leashed dog allowed, no cats.Please read the entire listing before booking. Thank you!Having a fire in the wood stove makes the cabin delightfully cozy. It may be used only if you have experience and keep the ashes and wood debris tidied up with the provided broom. Firewood is not provided. Electric heat is available. Babies and young children (maximum of 2 people) are allowed at no extra charge, but additional beds are not provided. The bed is a beautiful full/double size log bed. You will fall in love with this gorgeous setting. 1 mile to Rocky Brook Falls, 4 miles to Dosewallips State Park with hiking trails, river and saltwater beach access. Brinnon has restaurants, kayak rentals, hiking, beaches, waterfalls, and more. Get away from the crowded campgrounds and experience your own private slice of heaven! The cabin is close to my house and the neighbor’s house but still feels private, especially in the summer when the leaves are in. After the leaves are gone, you will be able to see my house from the cabin porch. You may hear nearby residences mowing, farming, target shooting, etc but for the most part it is really quiet and relaxing! The field in front of the cabin is great for stargazing.Bring your camp stove or order takeout from one of Brinnon’s nearby restaurants. There is no running water or kitchen in this cabin. You will need to bring your own water and everything as if you are tent camping. Basic coffee supplies and an electric water kettle are provided. Pay showers (quarters) are available at the State Park a few miles away. The Hoh Chalet is a cozy cabin located on the Olympic Peninsula in the Hoh River Basin. It is heated with a woodstove and has spiral stairs to get up to both bedrooms. Pictures of stairs are in additional photos in this listing.The spaceThe Chalet is a small cabin, just 400 sq ft per floor. It is an independant home and is powered by solar energy. The inside is DIY finished with repurposed materials. Only the appliances are new. This two-story cabin has 2 bedrooms upstairs with a double bed in each, no doors, and a desk in the hall. The entry level has a kitchenette, bathroom, dining area and common area with a hide-a-bed in the sitting room. It is heated with a woodstove; firewood, cable TV, and Wi-Fi are provided.Guest accessThere is plenty of parking, with a carport for smaller vehicles. You are welcome to walk down the road, and tour our property. We have a berry farm and U-Pick berries starting in late June as well as a grocery garden, and a path through our wooded area. A large communal fire pit is located behind our retail shack where Hoh Made Jam, Native Hoh River Smoked Salmon, and local arts and crafts are available.Other things to noteAccess to the upper floor is via a spiral staircase.
