It is a sister cabin to 'Away from it All' vrbo-480579 which many of you have had the pleasure of staying in. The cabin is model pre-civil war construction, it was reconstructed using modern mortar technique and then added on to in its current location. The Cabin sits near the end of a private dirt and gravel road behind a locked gate. Fenced yard for your doggies! Secluded is an understatement. It is situated on a bluff overlooking the Crystal Clear East Fork of the Little River, just below a waterfall which can be heard as soon as you open the door to the car during the wetter seasons. We have an inviting large covered front porch with swing and with a larger open uncovered front porch with ample log furniture where many a book has been read in the fragrant mountain air. The Cabin itself retains all of its antique charm as you enter the Great room with its stone double sided wood-burning fireplace serving the great-room and the Master bedroom both located on the lower floor. The Upstairs is separated by a staircase that leads to a private spacious upper loft that contains three Queen Beds. The Master Bedroom downstairs is off of the Great-room and is garnered with mountain views through perfectly placed casement windows and King Bed, situated perfectly so that you can see the woods and sunrise from the bed. Off of the Master Bedroom is a Beautiful Master bath with stone walk in shower and copper slipper tub, set below a large window overlooking the woods. All sinks were imported from a copper-smith in Mexico. There is a fully functional kitchen with stainless appliances/dishwasher/stove/oven/refrigerator/freezer/microwave and all cooking supplies you will need.
