Mile High Retreat-Aspen Cabin is spacious, comfortable and cozy. Relax in the natural, peaceful setting while you dine on the deck or soak in the private hot tub. Enjoy abundant wildlife and beautiful mountain surroundings. There are 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms each with a Queen size bed, and a Queen size sleeper couch and a futon in the living room. In the Master bedroom closet, there is a portable baby crib with linens.The Aspen is quiet and secluded yet easily accessible and centrally located between Mount Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Mountain Carving, 1880 Steam Train and many other attractions in the Black Hills. Hiking, ATV trails, museums, shopping, antiquing, winery tours and tasting, dining, horseback riding, scenic drives, and the Needles Highway are nearby. There is a little woodland trail that connects the Aspen with the Ponderosa- a second cabin that is available. Making both cabins a great place for a larger group or a family reunion.Amenities include ample parking and a fully furnished kitchen with place settings for at least 16, silverware and a variety of cooking utensils and pans. Camp Custer Log Cabins are Located 5 miles off the highway near Crazy Horse Mountain. Camp Custer Log Cabins are a work of art handcrafted by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) built in the 1930's.The scenery surrounding this vacation home is breathtaking. The stairs off the living room lead to the first 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The 4th room is on the ground floor with 1 full bathroom right next to it. The 5th bedroom is upstairs and has the 1/2 bath nearby. The Dining table seats 8. The couch, loveseat and recliner in the same room accommodate additional diners. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size appliances including a dishwasher. Dishes, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, 2 microwaves, even crock pots, baking sheets and more are all provided.
