Hotel Dapčević

Location is ideal with cafés, a bakery and two of the towns best restaurants nearby. The centre with the main sights is in easy walking distance along the pedestrianised main street. From the balcony of my room on the second floor I had a nice view over the red-tiled roofs of Cetinje's houses. There is a friendly reception by Tamara, who speaks well English, and her always smiling mother-in-law. They were ready to help in any way. Although breakfast is not included in the price one can have a coffee, a juice and some bakery for free. On my day of departure I was offered even a free breakfast. The room was spacious enough. I had a comfortable bed and a writing desk (which is important for me) and there was plenty of storage space, also in the bathroom with a good shower. It had an empty fridge. At night the room was quiet and I always had a good sleep. Room service is not included (which I didn't mind) and on the third day a change of towels is offered.

My wife and I spent one night at Hotel Dapcevic which is a modern 4 star rated hotel and around a 10-minute walk from the Old Town square. On arrival, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who promptly arranged check-in and then showed us to our first-floor room, at the same time offering to assist with our luggage. (Note: There is no lift, only stairs). The lady also recommended an excellent nearby restaurant (Kole) and advised various breakfast café options, as the room rate did not include breakfast. Our room was neat, modestly furnished, clean and comfortable, whilst the bathroom was modern, albeit quite small. There was however an annoying problem of the room entrance door rubbing against the flooring, making it somewhat difficult to open and close. Wi-Fi worked well and there was free parking available on the street next to the hotel. The hotel location is ideal, as it is close to the Old Town and also within close proximity to historic buildings, restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, and other shops. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel overall offered ‘good value for money'.
