This could easily be a 4 or 4.5 hotel if a little money was invested in it. Until then it’s a 3, but I’m willing to return. The good: Very clean; bed was comfortable; plenty of hot water and pressure; breakfast was the usual stuff; location is right off 66 and 28, so it’s easy to get around; plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute drive; mini fridge and microwave; good WiFi; friendly front desk. The not so good: Dated rooms, which would be ok were they fully functional. I had the same wobbly dangerous desk chair as another reviewer. Picture on both TVs would freeze every few minutes, regardless of channel. No clock in room. Only plug by the beds is behind the nightstand. Softest pillows to the point where three barely equals one. Couch is uncomfortable to sit (didn’t use to sleep). With a remodel this could really be a great place.

A junky hotel. Not three-star at all. Broken furniture, freezing room, stained couch. Tried to get some work done, but the only way to have overhead light was to have a ceiling fan on, which was way too cold even with the thermostat set to 78 degrees. Had to choose between light and having a stream of air on me. Desk chair is ready for the dump, it can't stand up straight. Front desk said they're sending someone but doesn't seem to be any hurry.

The public spaces in this hotel are fine but the rooms, particularly our bathroom, needed renovation. The mattresses were definitely old and should have been replaced. The old plumbing resulted in a clogged toilet and the room next door was having a loud party. However, the front desk addressed that after I complained, which I appreciated. It should be noted that the elevators do not require a room card for use, so I believe non hotel guests may have been coming up for that party. Really, all hotels should have their elevators require a room card for at least minimal security.

Was late and rushing to go to a meeting. When I got in the shower and got wet already, I realized that there's no shower gel (bottle completely missing) and the shampoo was totally empty. The only bottle that had something in it was the conditioner. Since I was already late had to shower with just water. (Look at the towel pics)!

Hotel was quiet and clean! We stayed at the hotel to be close to Washington D.C. for a Nationals game. The hotel was a great way to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to access it with a quick metro trip. The staff was extremely friendly. Great customer service all the way around!

Checked in early and room ac didn’t work. While I was glad to be able to check in early, the maintenance man told me that the air conditioning hadn’t worked in the room in a while. Why did they give me the room? I am a ambassador of level titanium lifetime elite member with Marriott. So then I went to the second room and the set up it is not what I would like however, the refrigerator in the room the gasket was warped it wouldn’t close properly, so the freezer section was all iced up and then it must’ve gone into defrost mode overnight because it was water all over the floor the next morning. They have the old style air-conditioning the one like the 70s hotels it’s in the window and there’s a ceiling fan the other door when the room underneath me or on the side of me turns on their ceiling fan the lamp that’s on the desk in the room, literally vibrates! There was no shower gel in the shower, and I had to pull very hard to get the shower to engage. It was obviously corroded in the shower didn’t come on all the way so I got a little bit of the water than the rest came out the spigot. Breakfast was great. The first day I was there second I was there it was something out of the frozen section. It was all disgusting. I ended up going to McDonald’s for breakfast, and it was definitely several steps above what they were serving. When I go back to that hotel no. The Wi-Fi was marginal. The hotel staff was very friendly and nice, but that doesn’t make up for this hotel which honestly I’ve stayed at better motel six hotels than this!

Stayed here to avoid the city prices. As anticipated, beds were comfy and room was clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast choices are still somewhat limited. Probably because of covid. Easy drive to DC. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area.
