Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa

This is our second year to visit the resort and spa - we'll very likely be back next year as well! Every single staff member is genuinely kind and helpful. From beginning to end, we feel very special and cared for. Booking, special requests, and arranging a spa day for 4 ladies in the same time slots for four services each - the service is stellar. The cabin is cozy and perfect for our Annual Fab 4 Christmas event and the beds/showers are awesome! Every last detail is thought of - hot tub on and ready, Keurig as available, fan in the room (my necessary item!), and sweet little touches throughout make this one of our absolute favorite trips of the year. Mekenna & Paula were our contacts at the resort and Jessica was our spa contact. All were super responsive and friendly, going out of the way to make us feel welcome. There are several things to do in the area and we have enjoyed local eating spots and quartz dig locations (so fun!). Please not: I recommend that you purchase groceries/alcohol in Hot Springs or another big city before getting in to Mt. Ida. Although the store is fully stocked and we found everything we needed, it was pricey. The liquor store was satisfactory as well, but a bottle of Cook's was $10 and the better brands were $20 or nearly so. Book here - you will not regret it!

A wonderful all-round experience. We will be back to stay in a studio in the future. My wife, our pups and I were very comfortable as we came to Hot Springs to visit our children for a Christmas celebration. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were very well maintained. Mike Abbiatti

We took our comp cheer team prior to our state championship. We stayed last year also. They are amazing. Highly recommend for a wonderful stay. Treated like family. Food was wonderful and it is so peaceful. The Christmas decor is over the moon and you wake up to the lake view.

The over-all experience was great. The only issue was not being told that our boat storage rate doubles in price during certain days and events. This would have been nice to know considering the price quoted was about 1/2 the actual price billed.

Wonderful yearly trip to Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa! Checkin/checkout process was smooth and efficient with the friendly employees. Tori called to confirm our reservation and get an approximate arrival time and Cathy called us a few times during our 10 day stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was perfect as usual and so was the fishing! Husband went out fishing with Chris Darby and brought in a cooler full of fish. The restaurant cooked up some of them for our dinner and they were tasty with all the trimmings. We will definitely be back next fall when the trees are turning their beautiful colors.

Joplin Inn Guest room stay had a very comfortable king bed and pillows. Heat/AC unit worked great. Electric outlets were scarce and extension cords were used for additional service. (Phone chargers & computer) Would have liked a small table and chairs to enjoy coffee with spouse, as there was only one upholstered chair and a bed. Just as shown in advertised photos. Unit was clean. Bathroom was small (no counter space) with a good tiled shower. Highway out front can be quite busy. It met all basic needs.
