When we arrived, there was no one at the desk. There was a couple in front of us and they had been waiting. They reported that there had been someone there who had then left. They had been waiting at least 10 minutes for someone to return and take care of a key issue that they had and we had to wait even longer just to get checked in. That is not the way you want to end long day of travel. And if hospitality is one of the hotels values, then those who are at the front desk ought to exhibit, some evidence of being hospitable. No word of greeting upon arrivals and no word of farewell upon departure.
