Ca' del Monte Resort

Most of the issues I am writing here we also reported to the management. The ambitious couple that is running this place are not the owners. We had a spacious room on the first floor (#9) but unfortunately there was a bath and no curtain or else to protect the water spreading all over the bathroom when taking a shower. The mosquito protection of a few windows is missing or broken, and there is only 1 chair. The bed is very comfortable. The pool area is very spacious but the plastic sunbeds have no cushions, so very hard to lay on. The pool itself is perfect, and has a very comfortable temperature of around d 25 degrees. The terrains are very well pledged, and the region is beautiful and fresh. The restaurant serves a la carte, and also a half pension menu for dinner. Although the servant told it was €30 for the half pension menue, you can skip courses, that reduces the price by €10 per course. When we checked out they told that was not correct for the month of August so we were miss informed. The owner was so kind to compensate us for the mistake made. The first 2 days we had a very tasteful dinner, the last 2 days were a little less, maybe because of the high number of guests, or the "ferragosto stress". It is a petty that almost all communication goes by QR-codes and mail, instead of direct communication skills that you expect in places like this. I felt that in the end "the ice was broken" and there was more inter human contact. In an agricultural environment on the top of a mountain in my opinion speaking with each other is the least! But the place is great for a short break.

Abbiamo voluto provare perché ha vinto la puntata dei 4 ristoranti di Borghese e devo dire che è stata un ottima scelta posto incantevole sperduto in cima al monte tutto perfettamente curato bellissimo mangiato benissimo proprietario simpatico ed accogliente camerieri attenti e molto gentili tutto perfetto ci ritorneremo!!!

Posto bello, deludente per il cibo. Mancavano gli affettati, solo salame Formaggi buoni ma... 42 euro tre porzioni e per quello che è stato.portato ci è sembrato eccessivo, comunque come.dicevo buoni. Ossobuco con salsa verde che ha.eliminato ogni altro sapore ... e non idoneo a nostro avviso per quel piatto ... a carne.dell"osso buco non il massimo (carne dura e grassa). Costine maiale come segnalato ... troppo bruciate. Buona linvece 'anatra. A nostro avviso.ampio margine di miglioramento...
