The room was simple, but clean and beds wereclean and comfortable. Although the location was not really good, and it lacked amenities like. toiletries and hooks to hang our clothes, we were quite satisfied since we saw that the hotel was specifically for people who went on tours. The food was ok, and we appreciated the complimentary drinks. We just wished that the breakfast coffee was for free. But anywau, thank you for the good accommodation.

The staff was really nice. Maybe there could be some courtains between shower and toilet in the room. But maybe I am just a comformist :D

Is good to travel solo and cheap. Good environment

Mad Monkey has been one of my favorite place to stay in CEBU and always making new friends… highly recommended 😊

Great atmosphere pub quiz tournament and beer pong was fun , love the social area , the rooms was clean and comfy , food and the menu was great

Staff were nice, but place had no ventilation and floor was always cold. It’s a party hostel so expect noise, but if you enjoy parties then this would be great for you as they have activities at the hostel bar every day.

Amazing place! To tell the truth was not excited about the city, but mad monkey saved me! Loved the crew, the atmosphere, great music. My stay was super comfortable, I made lots of new friends and didn't want to leave. Thanks to mad monkey for the happy time in Cebu!

This place is definitely more towards extroverted people and people, who came to party and meet new friends. If you're a homebody like me, this place is not for you (you should probably avoid hostels then...or book one that has more privacy). It's still very noisy after 2am, because people still party in the rooftop bar or sing karaoke loudly. I stayed in room 209, you can still hear everything even on the second floor. The rooms are a bit on the used and older side, but spacious. The bathroom was okay, a bit dirty and the water pressure on the shower was a bit low. It was very humid in my room and it was smelly in there. You only get a bedsheet for a blanket. The location is not that good, there is sadly no convenience store or anything else in walking distance. Luckily they have a coffee shop next door. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall I can still recommend this place for people, who are trying to meet other people. But if you're like me, a good night's rest is very difficult in this place.
