Sanctuary at Grand Memories Cayo Largo

Fantastic service Rosmil will take care of all special things you needs and service or event you want to celebrate . Daryl will be there at the front desk all day for anything , Oscar & Aya are serving you foods & drinks all day and then Ruslan take over at night . Jose will make your special coffee in the morning Latte , Capuccino .. Carlos can bring you around in his cart . Mijail & G your animation team are awesome they organized games & quiz and then you can learn some Cuban dances if you wish I just got back from there and I would recommend this place anytime I love it , but you need to know it not a place for party animals … it quiet, friendly and if you want more action there always the Marina downtown to go clubbing , small resort to relax and chill . Thank you to everyone who always make you feel like family & they appreciate that we choose their resort to spend our vacation they don’t take it for granted . That also very unique and explains why there’s so many repeat guest years after years ..🤩🫶🏼

The staff is nice and welcoming. The pool is nice, but near the road. You won't lack alcohol. The food is ok, not always the same. You can order eggs or other stuff like french toast on the grill. The bungalow is nice. Big shower. The cooling system works just fine. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask the front desk. You can also access all the other hotels. The public beach is great with few people.

I have stayed for four days in Cayo Largo Sanctuary hotel and I have learned something from this visit."The most important thing in life is the human asset".No food,no beaches,just human asset,where your true experience begins.That's why I am getting back home with a broken heart.My dreamed-of days

the cabins were big and very clean, we enjoyed the hot tub/jacuzzi at night. the staff was excellent and very attentive. we had access to all the bars and restaurants at the other resorts. food was excellent at all the resorts. and yes we had fruits and vegetables. There is no beach but they provide free roundtrip transportation (10 minute ride) 3 times a day at the best beaches in cuba.. Paraiso and Sirena. A big thank you to Rosmil, Gerald and mr, bean who drove us around on the golf cart and we enjoyed his singing. I thank all the staff for making our stay beautiful. We loved our visit. Cayo Largo is a great island to disconnect. I would definitely recommend this resort.

My Wife and I had a 2 week stay at the Sanctuary in the last week of January and the first week of February 2024. This was my 6th visit to Cuba, my second to Cayo Largo, and my first to this resort. The whole experience was a delight. I found the Staff professional, caring, and sincere. After arriving we were meet with a wonderful welcome. Check-in was fast and painless. The bungalow's are spacious and quite charming. The A/C worked well, and there was always hot water (problems I've had in other resorts that didn't exist at this one). The Hot tubs were hot, and the swimming pool was clean. With the Sanctuary being the premium resort on the Island, We had access to all the bar's and restaurant's at the other resorts. While there is no beach adjacent to this resort, there are shuttle runs to and from the resort and beach 3 times in the morning, and returning 3 times in the afternoon. We were happily surprised with the food on the island. We ate at 5 different resorts, and were very impressed with the quality of the food, the presentation, and the service. The only negative comment I would have, is that there is still storm damage from last years hurricanes, and it will take time to repair everything. The shades over top the loungers at the pool, were missing the webbing that creates the shade. We have found our new home away from home, and will certainly be coming back.

Strenghts: +The staff show natural smiles. +It feels like the food was prepared with more attention than at other larger resorts in Cuba. +Considering the limited number of guests on this resort (approx 45 cabins = approx 90 pers capacity), the staff appears to be more relaxed. +Some of the staff even speak quite well french. Weakness: -(out of their control) the beach near the resort was removed by mother nature. Maybe in a couple of years she will restore it! -It's Cuba, options for vegetables and fruits are very limited and diversity of meals is low.
