We are wrapping up a fantastic week long stay at Blu Zen. The units are clean and well appointed. The staff is amazing. Jairo was especially friendly and helpful. The water taxi that shuttles guests back and forth from the resort to south of the split is a game changer.

Our family stayed at Blu Zen for 4 days in July - overall, it was a very nice stay. If we were to return to Caye Caulker in the future, we would definitely consider staying here again. Summary of my thoughts: - The size of the condo was great. It was me, my husband, and 2 year old son and we stayed in the beachfront penthouse. Our views of the ocean were perfect and overall proximity to everything in the resort was nice. - We appreciated the welcome cocktails upon arrival. They even had a mocktail for our son! However, the check-in process wasn't very clear. When we arrived, there were two other groups also on the ferry checking in. It was an individual process to go to the condos, so while they gave the first group a tour and checked them in, we were left behind at the bar outside until they came back - overall about 20 minutes. I would have liked to have gotten off the ferry and be taken right to our room where there was AC and we could unpack and begin exploring. - We liked that there were beach cruiser bicycles available to use - there was even one with a child's seat in the back so we could bike as a family. However, it would have been nice if there were either more bicycles to accommodate the resort size or there were allotted biking times you had to sign the bike out for. We were hoping to go biking one day and there were zero bikes available the entire day - there were only about 10 total for the resort. For the size, there should be more or a way to accommodate more guests. - The restaurant food options were really good - we ate at both a few times during our stay. - There wasn't a way to reach the office after hours. One night, there was a gathering at the pool pretty late - they were rowdy and playing loud music and there was no way to have someone on staff ask them to keep it down. - Ferries were always on time and the number of options to leave and come back to the island were never a problem.

I just checked out of blu zen. My monthly cycle came unexpectedly (several days early) and therefore messed up bed sheets, rags and towels. Can you believe that this resort for an already embarrassing situation charged me for “damages”? A female that doesn’t ask for her cycle to come, surely didn’t ask for it to come early and embarrass her to have to tell the maid about it and get it cleaned had to further embarrass myself by explaining it again via text with no remorse and I’m being charged $80 for it. This is a disgrace. I’m so hurt by this. They gave me the GM number after I had to ask 3 times and of course no answer. I have traveled to over 100 places and have had two accidents like this and no hotel or resort has ever charged me for blood. This is so disgusting of this hotel i cannot believe it.

My partner and I just had a 90 min deep tissue couples massage with Tiffany and Clara and it was fantastic!! They are truly a gift and I felt so comfortable and relaxed afterward. I highly recommend them and Bambu spa at blue zen! I plan to come back again!

This is by far the best resort I have been to in a long time. The resort is gorgeous, Jairo and the entire staff are wonderful, attentive and always ready to help. Visit the spa, the ladies there are 5 star, it was the best massage I have ever had. We will be back!

Wonderful place to stay. If you are considering Caye Caulker for your vacation and want a luxury experience, book now. This gives the mix of “off the grid” and a bit out of the way/quiet place and easy enough to go to the split and lively areas of Caye caulker. We rented the 2 bedroom penthouse. Room was clean, View was beautiful and the staff were great. The pools are all amazing and clean, the beach side is beautiful and well kept. The only slight downside was the service at the bar/restaurant. Wait staff were incredibly friendly but spent a lot of time in the corner of the bar on their phones or huddled in a group talking for about 30 min after handing you a menu. We are frequent visitors to Belize and are used to the “go slow” idea but this was beyond island time. This was not a reason to stay away from the resort at all, just a minor annoyance at most. If you are looking for a relaxed, easy, beautiful place to stay, look no more. We will definitely be return guests.

Belize in general has a lower level of services and quality of accommodations than a typical tourist destination in the US. HOWEVER, The Blu Zen is extremely nice and up to the higher standards many accustomed to staying at a Wynn, Omni, Hilton, etc may be looking for. It was exactly what we had hoped. Our suite was huge, very nice, air conditioned, and reasonably priced. The Blu Zen resort and North Caye Caulker in general is very quiet and off the beaten path. It was very nice to be outside of the very congested and busy south Caye Caulker at night and to relax. There's a shuttle that runs frequently between both ends of the island which is very convenient and reliable. There's a few other amenities/restaurants around Blu Zen but for the most part you should expect to have to take the shuttle south to get a larger variety of shopping for household goods, food, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here in the future!

I just had the Hibiscus Scrub from Tiffany at Blue Zens Bambu Spa and it was wonderful! I wanted to try something different from a massage and I’m so glad I did. My skin feels amazing! The reflexology massage while wrapped in a warm blanket was perfect! I highly recommend this treatment from Tiffany!

My husband and I enjoyed the luxurious spa treatment at the Bamboo Spa at Blu Zen. Each of us relaxed in our 90 minute Swedish Massage by Tiffany. The aromatic essential oils, the soft sounds of the waterfall and the soft spa music provided the ultimate relaxing experience. Tiffany also provided excellent reflexology skills on my hands, feet, and scalp during the massage and the addition of the use of Bamboo reached the areas of deep tissue tightness. Our treatments were very therapeutic and relaxing. We will definitely schedule spa treatments again, upon our return to fabulous Blu Zen, in a couple of months.
