Villa Voinic

Our room was on the third floor. Lots of stairs to carry your bags. The internet was problematic. The shower is very small. The room has a peek of the water . That’s it. But the view is nice. It is 15 mins to the city center but it’s a hilly descent and ascent back.

We stayed here for our few days in Croatia and wow - incredible. Cavtat is one of the best places we’ve visited. Incredibly kind people and a lovely little town. At the villa, we chose the room with a sea view balcony and it did not disappoint. Waking up to that view was breathtaking, it felt unreal. Our room was very nice as well, and having air conditioning in Europe was a huge plus. The bed was extremely comfy, the bathroom was very nice, and the staff were the best. They cleaned our room throughout our stay and consistently provided fresh towels. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay while visiting, you won’t be disappointed with Villa Voinic.

This is our third time in Cavtat, and this accommodation did not disappoint. It was priced very reasonably and the room was spotless and unexpectedly big, with a kitchenette and balcony, (with a sea view). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We weren't sure if it would operate like a self-catering apartment, but the rooms were cleaned and towels replaced every day. We were welcomed with a drink by the lovely host(ess), and we were given some of her delicious apple strudel on another occasion. The pool is lovely and quiet, an option if you feel like taking a break from the sea. It is a less than 10 minute walk to beautiful Cavtat, although the walk up the hill is quite steep. I have heard other reviewers mention taxis, and although we always walked back, we used Uber to go to the airport which was exceptionally quick and easy, so I guess that would be an option if you didn't feel like walking back up. I would highly recommend Cavtat in general, and this accommodation in particular.

I strongly reccomend this place, great landlords, very helpful and kind, it is near the city center and the beach, the room was very comfortable and clean. Lovely place, perfect for vacation solo or with someone

This place is a gem among the hundreds of small hotels scattered on the hills above Cavtat. Room 6 has a seaview and a very private balcony. The beds are perfect, the kitchenette is well equipped for two, and AC and wifi work well. The small pool is additional luxury. The neighborhood is quiet but it's still just a 5-minute walk down to town and 10 minutes back. Yes, it's steep but nothing that a pair of healthy feet cannot manage. There are two grocery stores, a pharmacy, a couple of bakeries and numerous restaurants downtown. Definitely one of the best summer vacations we have had.
