Archipelago Apartments Esperance

We booked this several months ago for five days. when we got there the cleanliness of the place was one of the worst I have stayed in. Dust everywhere, mould and grim in the shower. The shower wouldn't drain so you showered in ankle deep water. The carpet was sticky and so was the kitchen floor. smudge marks all over the glasses in the kitchen cupboard. But to top it all off we didn't have water during the day as they were doing up another apartment. No notice no compensation no explanations. We contacted the owner but they never replied. There office manager was perplexed as to why they hadn't replied and even her communications didn't get us a reply. Do NOt Stay here. very bad customer service from the owner.

Such a shame but the amenities provided are what you want when staying away from home but everything is dirty!!! Really dirty!! Mould in the bathroom should not be taken lightly! The place is filthy as per the photos. Would not recommend or stay again.

Hello The location of your property was very good so close to The Esperance and the shops. But we found the property somewhat dated and in need of some TLC. The bedroom and lounge were acceptable but the kitchen and bathroom was horrible. The entire kitchen and bathroom need a deep clean we found the following, Frying pans were disgusting we could not use them, we had to wash the utensils, we had odd cutlery, you left us a dirty scourer and used dishcloth, we did not even have china plates and bowls they were picnic ones, the kitchen cupboards inside were not clean and had marks from pans etc, the entire kitchen was very dated with cupboards door not always shutting properly. The bathroom was not clean at all with dirty cupboards, skirting boards had dirt all along them and the dirt round the toilet was disgusting, and the sink had a big gap behind it and the ceiling was flaky, the lights only had one bulb out of three, again very dated needs an update as well as the kitchen. To add to that we had what we think was a long term stay next to us who drove a big and I mean big truck, he would arrive around 6.30 to 7 obviously after working nights and woke us up with the loud engine and then when he went out he left the engine running for ages. So we found the apartment number 5 very grubby and then you quoted we would be fined if left any rubbish or dirt on towels, I am attaching some pictures I am sure you would not like to have to live with it.

We paid $330 per night for a three bedroom apartment. For the price we were quite disappointed. The cooktop was dirty and cooking utensils greasy sat on a dirty window sill. The kettle was covered in a slimy calcium goop that blocked the filter when trying to make a cuppa, I cleaned it the best I could. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I slept in the queen bed and my son in the double. All three of us woke up sore and tired from a restless night. My son spent the last night on the couch due to the bed being so uncomfortable. Our sheet and doona had what appeared to be blood spots on them on arrival. On a positive note our daughter slept in the single bed and said it was comfy. They provided washing powder, body wash etc which was great. We were appreciative of the second tv in main bedroom. It was close to town and amenities. The gardener was super friendly and we had nice chats with him. We have never left accommodation so early and were on our way home by 6am on check out day. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Very misleading. Basically a run down motel with a few patch ups. Strong smell of smoke as soon as entering the room. Went to let them know. Response was that's all we have. Let bookings.com know as my wife has bad asthma. Back and forth with management only to be told they had fixed the smell issue. No coverings on back window leading to bathroom. Taps ,shower and toilets make all sorts of noises. WiFi worked for an hour in the three nights we stayed. At night the whole room buzzes and felt like there was a presence in the room and I don't usually believe in that stuff. Offered if we left they would refund last night. Unfortunately we could not find alternative accommodation.

Staying at a 1 bed appartment right now, nicely surprised when we opened door to a very clean, well stocked and nicely decorated appartment. It's an older building and a lot of effort has been put in to make it nice and comfortable. Nice bedlinen, white fluffy tiles and comfy couch. I would recommend it to anyone holidaying in Esperence, a small pool also on premises which we did use on the recent 45c day. Overall a good stay, we are very happy.
