AVOID. Cancelled my booking only to relist at an inflated price. Very unprofessional, unfriendly and unhelpful when contacted about this. Strongly recommend to avoid at all costs. Have stayed nearby in same area at some friendly helpful and pristine places, in village of Castle Donington, try those instead!

Very convenient stopover on our way up north! Annexe at end of a lovely coaching/barn conversion. Fully enclosed garden, lovely for our 2 dogs. Enter into an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area! The kitchen had a fridge, kettle, microwave and Hob. There was a welcome pack of cereal, bread, jam and milk. Upstairs 2 beautiful en-suite bedrooms. Really large and comfortable bed. There is a convenience shop right opposite but check sell by dates. There is a Co-op a little further away and a domino pizza takeaway. Our only problem was….it was the owners next door Xmas do. We heard them go out and then their dog barked for about half and hour. We then heard them come back. It probably wouldn’t normally be an issue but we have a dog that reacts and this is why we stay in places like this instead of busy hotels! So our dog did bark back and woke us a few times! If we didn’t have a reactive dog it wouldn’t have been such an issue. It hasn’t put us off returning, it really is a lovely comfortable place.
