Borgo Argiano

My husband and I stayed at Borgo Argiano to celebrate our 25-year anniversary in August 2024. It is an exceptional property, with stunning views and well-maintained gardens. The apartments were spacious, beautifully decorated and very well stocked. The quality of the beds and linens are top-notch, highlighting their attention to every detail! The pool was a great escape from the heat with comfortable loungers, a perfect oasis. Dario and Francesco were awesome, they made us feel truly welcomed! Even provided a fruit basket and a welcome bottle of wine. They were always happy to help and provided excellent restaurant suggestions. We feel truly lucky to have found this magical place. We will be back!!! Thank-you!

What a fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Chianti. My wife and I have travelled all over Italy and this was a highlight. Dario is the resident property manager and he was so gracious and helpful. We stayed in one of the Garden two-story villas. We had great time. This is a very popular wedding venue so June-August might be tough.

Borgo Argiano is as incredible as every review says it is. It's a beautiful, intimate property with stunning views. Our room was extremely clean, smelled wonderful, and had a fantastic bed and shower to make up for our cramped quarters the week before in Rome. Each room has its own private outside seating area. We can't say enough good things about Dario and Francesco, who were very welcoming and attentive. They gave us a fun complimentary tour of the winery. We also loved and highly recommend the private cooking class that Dario helped us arrange. A local chef named Emiliana came to the common area kitchen and helped us prepare the best meal of our entire trip (and maybe our lives). She was fun and friendly and sent an email with the recipe for each course we cooked. If we ever return to Tuscany, we will definitely stay at Borgo Argiano again!

After having spent most of my holidays as an adult in Europe, somehow I have avoided Italy. What a huge mistake, this wine lodge in particular is absolutely stunning beyond belief the quality of the accommodation, and indeed the pool and , of course the wine is amazing . Yesterday it rained a bit and we had a wine tasting with Francesco. What an experience. The guys is a fountain of knowledge and excellent company. The place is super chilled out . The local eateries are super also.

We stayed at Borgo Argiano for 6 days at the end of September. This was one of the primary highlights of our trip to Italy. Both Dario and Francesco were welcoming and attentive. Our suite was beautiful and cozy with a lovely terrace to behold the quintessential Tuscan views. We took part in a wine tasting which was interesting and delicious! I highly recommend this incredible place as you Tuscan base.

I will rave about Borgo Argiano forever! We had an incredible stay here for 3 days/2 nights and wish we would have stayed longer. I've been talking to Dario for 2+ years, as we were originally supposed to visit in May 2020, and the trip was worth the wait. The apartments, grounds, pool, and common areas are all stunning and every space is beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Superior Deluxe Apartment, which was extremely spacious with an amazing view. It has a great little kitchen, which they even stocked with a few essentials and have fresh herbs growing you can use. The location is also great, just under 90 minutes drive from Florence, 20 minutes from Siena, and close to many other great wineries. Just as amazing as the property was the service. Beforehand and on site, Dario and his team were extremely friendly and took care of every little thing we needed (taxis, recommendations for dinner and local wineries, etc.). He set us up with an onsite tour of the vineyard and wine tasting. The wines are excellent and they even have an honor bar so you can grab some easily during your stay. We also did an onsite cooking class which was wonderful. It was 3 hours of authentic Italian cooking and ended up being one of the best meals we had during our 10 day trip in Italy.
