Le Friquet Hotel

We would like to express our thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Our room was lovely, the food in the restaurant was superb, and every member of staff we encountered was cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. If seafood is your preferred food and this is your place to go .

We had an amazing time. The staff are so friendly and kind and the food absolutely delicious. I must admit we have been four times and will continue to come. It is a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. We had a great peaceful break just what we needed to recharge our batteries.

Staying here was utterly relaxing, because everything is kept to such a high standard and all the staff are terrific. Comfort, excellent food, beautiful grounds....just what I needed. I came to Guernsey after a loved one died, and staying at Le Friquet gave me the perfect base to take time to rest and reflect in a warm environment.

Less than 10 minutes drive from St. Peter Port, the roads in Guernsey can be narrow and you should take extra care when driving back from the capital after dining. There is no place in Guernsey farer than 15 minutes from the hotel. This said, the hotel is very good, especially the breakfast and the gardens. Free parking is very convenient as well.

This is our fourth stay at Le Friquet. The staff, the food and accommodation all excellent. The staff go above and beyond which is much appreciated, would like to give a special mention to Dayana. We love your garden, it feels so tranquil. We have provisionally booked another four day stay for next year

Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed felt very luxurious. There was lots of storage, the WiFi worked well and the tea/coffee tray was well stocked. The downsides were the air con was very noisy and I think there was also a lot of noise outside our window (smokers area?) and other guests stomping up and down the stairs. Luckily we has ear plugs so not too much of an issue. The TV bracket was a bit loose so TV was at a bit of a wonky angle. Great that it was a smart TV though as we were able to use Netflix. Check in/out went smoothly and staff were very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant. We had the Tennerfest menu which was fantastic, as was the service and the restaurant was busy and full of atmosphere. The only off putting thing was the tank of lobsters. They looked really crammed in and I think perhaps the days of seeing your dinner in a tank before you eat it are long gone, and the lobster tank might be better off in the kitchen. Those lobsters don't really look like they are living their best lives before they end up on someone's plate. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a really good selection. We booked the £90 pp Tennerfest deal which was well worth the money
