Good service and nice also big clean room. I definitely will come back to stay here if I come back to Carvoeiro next time!

The room I got was spacious , quite comfortable . However the interior and facilities are aged and a bit lack of proper maintenance . With this price range, I will just give it a fair.

Ottimo hotel tranquillo in posizione collinare a 15/20m a piedi dal centro e spiaggia (un po’ faticoso al ritorno perché in salita). Ottima colazione. Camere attrezzata anche con cucina ( la nostra aveva un inconveniente di allaccio elettrico comunque risolto il giorno seguente. bel giardino con piscina ( non utilizzata visto il tempo uggioso ). Comodo parcheggio

Quarto grande e silencioso mas os armários são velhos e as cortinas sujas e com partes emperradas. Varanda grande porém suja e precisa de uma atualização na pintura. Banheiro com bom espaço porém com cheiro forte que vem do ralo. O quarto é grande e seria bom ter um lixo adicional porque só tem no banheiro e na cozinha. A mini cozinha tem um bom frigobar mas os armários e pia são bem antigos, com cheiro forte. Senti falta de detergente e bucha na cozinha. Pelo nível do quarto justificaria ter uma Nespresso, seria muito bom. Ponto favorável são as toalhas de ótima qualidade tanto no quarto quanto na piscina. A área da piscina é linda, jardim bem cuidado e cadeiras top para deitar. O bar é interessante também mas não usei porque achei os preços um pouco caros. Café da manhã médio, sugiro suco de laranja fresco para melhorar e mais opções de pães. Jantamos um dia no hotel, não recomendo, é serviço de buffet e a comida não estava boa, foi caro. Melhor fazer as refeições fora.

This is a beautiful hotel sitting high on a hill in a residential area of town. My wife and I are staying in room 224 being a room with a view of their pool and grounds. The employees are friendly and accommodating. This is a peaceful and quiet neighborhood and we were upset when the announcement of a LIVE BAND PLAYING FROM 8:00 pm UNTIL 11:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS! THE COUNTY WESTERN RACKET WAS EYE WATERING! I cannot see the neighbors putting up with this. I cannot recommend staying here. Two of our five nights here were ruined. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR ACCOMMODATIONS.

Had a wk half-board. Online photos are very deceiving. Decor, furniture & rooms very dated & tired. Definitely not a 4* hotel. Its situated on top of a very steep hill, if you don't drive its a nightmare walking back from the town, bars, restaurants & beach in the heat. There's nothing around the hotel area, so no choice but to head down to the beach front & taxi back to hotel which was expensive. Food was very poor, basic & repetitive each day. On my final evening meal I made a big mistake & ate the prawns.....nxt morning I was frequently on & off the toilet. At 14.30 I began to feel ill at the airport whilst waiting for our flight. Thankfully I made it home without messing myself in public! Spent 4 days in bed & lost 7lb in weight. Emailed the hotel to inform them of my illness & asked if there were any other guests reported being ill? Was told no & they would send off all specimens of the food for analysis. I had to chase them for results & management said nothing showed up. I politely asked for a copy of the report to send to my holiday company & received a very rude reply threatening me with their lawyers! So no proof of food analysis & their word against mine!

Myself and my partner stayed here in May 2024. We both loved this hotel so much we was so happy with the experience here! We arrived quite late to the hotel, but the receptionist was very helpful and explained everything to us, which was appreciated a lot. The room was so spacious, and so clean. The cleaners came every day and were so friendly. The Pool area is very nice and relaxed, with a bar at the pool! The hotel is in an ideal location of Carvoeiro, and is a 10 minute walk maximum to the local town with a beautiful beach and restaurants We enjoyed our stay so much, we would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay

We were a party of 3 girls and we stayed at the Carvoeiro Hotel for 4 nights. We had a super experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was very spacious with really comfortable beds. The staff couldn't have been nicer, so helpful and always pleasant in particular Sandra, Beatrice, Jose and Diogo. The breakfast was excellent and the Tuna Salad on the lunch menu was particularly good. We had such a lovely few days and would recommend this hotel.

My partner and I stayed at the carvoeiro hotel for 3 nights to celebrate his 40th birthday. We were both so impressed with the hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for you, it was clean and the rooms were spacious. The food was delicious and the prices were fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning our next visit. Thank you to all the staff for making our trip so wonderful x

We spent over 15 days in Portugal on our honeymoon and had the misfortune of ending up at this hotel as our last stay in Portugal. I booked via *********** and to be honest, we were in a bit of a hurry so I did not check the reviews on trip advisor. Never again! We usually book boutique hotels as the experience is more personal and a lot more interactive in terms of getting to know someone who is local as well as other guests. Since this was our honeymoon and we were going to be in the Algarve as our last stop before heading back, I thought it would be a lovely surprise to indulge in some luxury and I booked this so called 4* hotel looking at the pictures the management would have posted. It was so bad, the pictures would tell the story. The place is filthy and not worthy of a single star. There is absoluetly no sense of hospitality. Check-in is at an odd 3 or 4 pm and untill then they make you wait without even so much so as offering water to drink. Anyway, we checked in and immediately there was a foul smell in the bathroom. We informed them and the next hour was spent in getting the sink and the shower area de-clogged. In the meantime, we see large holes in the bedsheet! We inform the staff and they ask us what do we want them to do! Also, I had messaged them a month ago, at the time of booking that we would prefer a double bed - they said there are no double beds in the entire hotel and they would have a double bedsheet over the joined single beds, but this was also not done when we checked in and neither was it done when they changed the bedsheet nor the next day. This isn't where the horror story ends, there were bugs in the room, the little kitchenette had so much dust and grime accumulating for god knows how many months and there was cracked wood with dust everywhere you would look, water seepage and rotting wood and carpets. Take a look at the pictures and you'll realize without even being there what a dungen of a place this is and the worst thing is nobody cares. We checked out a day earlier and at the time we were leaving, the staff on the reception said "I hope all was well with your stay"! Despite multiple complaints, no one bothered to come to the room to even see how we were managing. Unfortunately we had a boat tour and hike planned on day 2, which is why we didnt check out the same evening we checked in. We were being charged over 200 Euros a night and they didn't even give us a bottle of water. When we asked, they said we give one (50cl) bottle of water when you check in. No matter how many days you're staying with them! On the second evening, when I said the room wasn't cleaned yet, they said we first start with the rooms that would have guests checking in and then come to others and by 5pm it will definately be done. Even after 6pm, no one showed up and after repeated reminders, they started cleaning the room at 6:20. Yet, it was as dirty as you can see in the pictures - ones with the dust and grime around the kitchenette,

This hotel was the PERFECT location and the staff was amazing! Every single person was friendly, accommodating, happy, and generous with their time and advice! The room was great with two twin beds, and a shower with great pressure. Bring your own blo-dryer! We stayed up late in the lobby one night and a sweetheart employee brought us hot water and tea and coffee… without us even asking! We will definitely stay here again and again!

We had a very relaxing 10 day stay at the hotel. Very clean spacious room & lovely outdoor surroundings. It's a great place to use as a base & too just chill out. A big thanks to Natalia, Diego, Nathaniel & the rest of the team for looking after us so well.

Já tive hospedado no hotel há alguns meses, mais especificamente em março, mas hoje decidi dar a minha sincera opinião derivado a várias comentários feitos em relação ao hotel e ESPECIFICAMENTE aos funcionários que trabalham no mesmo. Desde do início ao fim tive uma boa experiência neste hotel, assim que cheguei fui super bem atendida pela senhora Laura Santos, que desde já dou-lhe os meus parabéns pela sua simpatia e por estar sempre pronta a ajudar o cliente e também a senhora Elisa que trabalha no bar pela sua simpatia e boa disposição. Cheguei ao quarto, estava super bem arrumado, cheirava bem e a casa de banho igual. Pelas críticas que vi em relação ao hotel e os colaboradores, parece que são de pessoas que já vêm frustadas da vida e têm de descarregar em algum lado e infelizmente quem trabalha com atendimento ao público acabo por ser o saco de boxe e desses mesmos clientes. Mas pronto, a minha experiência neste hotel foi 5 estrelas
