Worst hotel we stayed in Cartagena. Wasn’t told about the fact they don’t have hot water until we arrived. There’s black mold growing around the a/c and in the showers. We asked to just stay 1/3 nights and refund the sum of the other 2 nights which they agreed. When we went for the refund 5 min after they took our money all of a sudden the machine didn’t work. So we said we would try again when we checked out the next day otherwise they would refund in cash. Went to check out machine still wasn’t working and they wouldn’t refund in cash. They asked to come back the next day which we did still the machine didn’t work and they didn’t have enough money to refund in cash. Said they would message the next day to give refund and they didn’t when I messaged them no reply. Went there and no one was there until 2. Waited til 2 and messaged them with no reply. This hotel owes me 842000 COP and refuses to pay it back. Highly recommend not staying here poor service very dirty. On top of it all they fumigated in our room without permission to enter the room. How is someone expected to stay in a room with that toxic poison in the room?
