Casa Carolina Hotel

I cannot say enough about Casa Caroline—it’s truly one of those rare finds that completely makes your trip. The hotel is tucked away in the walled city, and from the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The rooms are spacious and stunning, and the bed? Honestly, one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Every night we’d come back from a fun night out, and the room would be turned down and glowing—so calm, cozy, and dreamy. It felt like sinking into heaven. But what really makes this place so special is the people. The staff is beyond incredible—attentive, kind, thoughtful… just the best. The bartender up at the rooftop bar is wildly talented (go for sunset—trust), and Caroline herself? A total gem. Warm, welcoming, and just such a cool presence to be around. I’d come back to Cartagena just to stay here again. It’s that kind of place.

Just get the iced chocolate and thank me later. Review done. The staff are great and the interior is fantastic. In a great part of Cartagena too so would thoroughly recommend this to anyone in the area. Prices aren’t too bad either and the ambiance is immaculate.

My sister and I (F 34, 24) stayed at Casa Carolina this past week, and we were absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and cared for. A special shoutout to Franklin and Christian—they were incredibly kind, helpful, and all-around amazing throughout our stay. Tata was also a true highlight—she radiated warmth and light, and made every interaction feel special. The hotel itself is the perfect blend of classic Colombian charm and modern luxury. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. We felt safe and relaxed the entire time, which made it so easy to fully unwind and enjoy the city. The location was ideal—central and convenient for exploring all that Cartagena has to offer. We can’t recommend Casa Carolina enough and will absolutely be back the next time we visit!
