Just like Colin said in his review, this would have been a primo place to stay 50 years ago which coincidentally is when I last visited this area. During the short summer season, modern 4-5 star places will cost you double of what you'll pay for this two star place. But we were only staying overnight and didn't need any place fancy so we were content to stay here. The room was clean (although a bit stuffy), and the staff were friendly and helpful. It has free parking, free WiFi and even a pool. It was just right for us for a night.

This is a budget friendly 1960s style fmotel, which would make a fantastic location for a movie of that era, if a location director were looking to find such a place. As for our stay, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a very clean, but equally very retro room. The room had a fridge and a TV with a variety of channels, A/C and plenty of hot water. We had a comfortable night’s sleep and were warmly sent back on our way. Not exactly luxurious, but not expensive either. We were happy to have stayed there.

The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet! Harry and his lovely daughter went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! The place was sparkling, clean and well-maintained! The pride in their business is evident! Highly recommend! For you hikers out there, this is a great place to stay! it was a five minute drive to Zealand trail head. After hiking the Bonds, the Twins and Galehead and staying at the Galehead hut we came down the Gale River trail. Took a right at the trail head to a right on Haystack Road… A gravel road that turns into a trail through the woods that came out on Route three about 1 mile from the hotel…. a beautiful walk and the last 2/3 and easy trek through the woods… And a bit on route 3. 10 miles from the hut to the Four Seasons.

Very nice clean motel. Very comfortable bed and very helpful staff. Convenient location and morning coffee was nice. We would return if in area again and would recommend to others if traveling in the area.

I was disappointed that my"deluxe" room was very large but did not have a coffee maker, only had one bath towel, had to ask for a new roll of toilet paper. The motel was clean and desk people friendly. The super huge king bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. Towel was clean but frayed. Wifi worked well. Small fridge was a nice touch.

Super bien situé, super service, internet de qualité, bref énormément de qualité avec belle piscine et quelques modules pour les jeunes enfants Un peu vieillot mais très, très propre! Nous avons passé une belle nuit avant de partir en randonnée!
