My third stay at the Tulbagh Mountain Manor, not my last.
The view is spectatcular, the acomadation grand and the welcome real.
Highly recommended.

This is one amazing place. We were there for our honeymoon, and we slept in the room outside the main house. The view is amazing, and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. The place was very clean, and don't get me started on breakfast, fluffiest flapjacks we have ever had. If we are in the area again, we will stay there.

Amazing breakaway if you planning to stay in Tulbagh or attending a function at Mont Rouge which is basically just around the corner. Place is in quiet peaceful surroundings. Beautiful furniture, clean and maek you feel welcome. Would go back there anytime.

First of all the biggest disappointment was finding out in the morning that our breakfast wasn’t included, which was the main reason for choosing the place. The Rose cottage was neglected and a lot of mismatched stuff. Most of the stuff wasn’t working properly and a lot of irritations.

My family and I visited Tulbagh Mountain Manor at the end of April this year (weather had already started to turn chilly) and we had the best time over the 2 days that we spent in Tulbagh. We received a warm welcome, the room was very comfortable (and well-insulated), and we managed to enjoy the fireplace in the dining area while building a puzzle, reading and enjoying some lovely red wine - just what we needed as a quick break from the city. We can highly recommend this guest house

Perfect location, overlooking one of the most beautiful valleys in the Western Cape, surrounded by the Winterhoek Mountains. Great amenities on site, the fire pit, under the massive oak tree and pool with stunning valley views, were our favorites. Lastly a big thank you to the owner Mirna, the best host ever.

This is a beautiful place to stay, but a little out of the way for most travelers. It's approximately 90 minutes' drive from Cape Town and in the opposite direction of the Garden Route, which is the route most travelers tend to follow. But it's a perfect get-away if you live in Cape Town and want to spend a long weekend in a quiet and beautiful area. Hiking, biking, winetasting... We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the manor, but you need to go to the town of Tulbagh (12 kms away) for other meals. The town itself is very small with a few houses of historical significance.

You will not find a better host than Mirna. A stunning place in a wonderful setting ! Friendly staff, great breakfast and a nostalgic feel.

Mountain manor is a little oasis with spectacular views across the surrounding mountains and vineyards. Mirna was an incredibly welcoming and helpful host, teaching us how to braai and giving us recommendations for places to explore in the local area. We also enjoyed the company of her three dogs. We stayed in Lavendar cottage which is a self contained chalet which had everything we needed for self catering, though breakfast is provided on site which looked very good!
