Bergsicht Country Farm Cottages

We had the most incredible stay at Outpost 2 on a working fruit farm in Tulbagh. The cabin was absolutely stunning—thoughtfully designed with all the amenities and little luxuries you could need while still honoring the natural surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the morning walks and runs through the orchards, where we were greeted by the friendliest fruit pickers on the farm. It was such a heartwarming and authentic experience, adding a personal touch to our visit. Every detail made our stay unforgettable, from the cozy interiors to the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Being immersed in nature while enjoying such comfort was a perfect balance. The location was also ideal, with plenty of fantastic wine farms nearby to explore. We loved every minute of our time here and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with a touch of luxury!

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at Bergzicht Cottages - we stayed in Leititia Cottage and it was so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The hot tub was fabulous and we were in there every night after cooking our dinner on the braai, and sat there listening to the night birds and looking at the stars, simply heaven... We would 1000% recommend staying at any of the cottages, this place is amazing, thank you

One of the best weekend getaways we have ever had. Outpost cottages are lovely with everthing one need and more. Exceptional attention to detail in the cottages. The views of the mountains and valley are great and one immediately feels relaxed. Superb.

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and ambiance of our cottage, the peace and quiet rejuvenated our souls after a hard year at work. We will definitely return

It’s our second time, and we will alway choose to come back ! We stayed in Latetia both times, it’s the first unit but has an extra fire pit the others don’t have. Service and information is top notch, Buildings and equipment top notch, we can even see ruminations and improvements to the unit since Aug last year. You won’t get a better price and it’s the only of its kind offering 1 night stays in the week. Next year we doing the new outposts ! Thanks for another wonderful anniversary! See you next year !

Arrange a picnic for a specific time as requested never arrived 8pm at night I was contacted and told the picnic would be reimbursed and we don't need to worry about checkout the next day. The next morning we were rushed to checkout out as plans changed apparently. Still haven't been reimbursed for the picnic.
