This is NOT a 4* 'boutique hotel'. This is NOT a hotel! I only stay in 4* hotels, but this was such a shock. I stayed for ten nights. Owner is from the USA. He was there for a day or two, then moved on. The staff does not wear some sort of uniform. Dressed everyday into what they feel like i.e. flip flops, sloppy clothes, very unpresentable. No TV channels, only Netflix [sometimes not]. Heavy traffic everyday from 05:30 onwards. The whole area is hilly and you will need to uber or shuttle for groceries. The menu offered flat white coffee, but they did not know how to make it. The breakfast might be available as per the menu, or you will have to choose something else due to a shortage of ..... this and that. Bedroom curtains dirty at the bottom and windows need a good wash, in- and outside. Sea Point is really making life unpleasant with their exorbitant fees and staff who runs the business. I spoke to many people, complaining about the same things I experienced. Two of them already wrote to TripAdvisor.
