Best hotel I have been to. Great customer service and friendly staff.

We had an amazing time at POD, from the beds to the double headed shower (we loved this) and the views at Camps Bay. Everything was incredible. We stayed 1 night but wished we stayed longer. The staff was also excellent. Definitely recommend staying here!

I have spent 4 days with my husband in this beautiful boutique hotel at few meters of camp bay beach . What a dream ! The hotel is pretty, has a beautiful view and a perfect location but is especially remarkable for the excellence of its service . The hotel staff effectiveness and kindness really amazed me and made this stay special ! Thank you to the entire team but especially to Caamil and Concy at the restaurant /bar and Sean at the front desk . We really felt in a home away from home !

What an amazing experience at Pod Camps Bay in Cape Town! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. We arrived a bit too early, but it was no problem at all. They immediately invited us for a delicious breakfast, which was such a wonderful surprise! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – everything was fresh and flavorful, the perfect start to our day. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the location is perfect – we were within walking distance of the beach. The hospitality of the team made our stay truly special. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Pod Camps Bay!

POD Camps Bay is beautiful and the most phenomenal location- 50m from the beach but not right on top of the craziness of the bars in the main road. The staff are exceptional and exude true hospitality. I can highly recommend this very special hotel.

I can see why so many people rated this place as perfect. There is nothing I could complain about. The room was great, with minibar included. So, I enjoyed a nice wine, soft drinks, and snacks. The views were fantastic. I woke up to a view of Lion’s Head, and I also spent a bit of time in the lobby enjoying views of Camps Bay and the 12 Apostles. It was walking distance to lots of options for food and fun, but the hotel also allows ordering in. My faves would have to be the spa, the breakfast, the bar, and most of all, the team. They learned my name, greeted me every chance they got and made sure I was taken care of. The masseuse was amazing! And, Rennia was most accommodating - she even encouraged me to come for breakfast and be social. The breakfast was not your ordinary breakfast - it was hot food made to order and a bar with smoked salmon, Bloody Mary ingredients, fresh juice, meats, cheeses, and the best tasting fruit. When I return, this will be my go-to place.

We completely fell in love with the hotel and enjoyed every single detail. The room was absolutely stunning , spacious, beautifully designed, and pure luxury. Waking up to the ocean view and sound of the waves was just magical. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and healthy , exactly what we love. The pool area is a dream, and the new sunbeds are incredibly comfortable. Every part of our stay felt thoughtful and relaxed. The service was warm, attentive, and top-notch from start to finish. POD is truly a gem, and we wouldn’t hesitate to rate it a 10 out of 10. Can’t wait to return!

Best choice I made for our 3 days in Cape Town! Camps Bay is considered as the South African Miami… long white beach, good restaurants and leisure cocktails vibes! POD Camps is the place to be for enjoying at the maximum this joyful place! Service and Staff are very kind and professional, they assist you in everything like having a persons butler always ready to find a solution for every kind of requests! Breakfast is WOW effect and you must try their underwater Gym as well! What we loved the most? Our private heated pool in our room pavilion! Of course we will come back!

Fantastic stay at POD Camps Bay. All members of the team are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble - they arranged tours for us at the last minute and were very helpful. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean and we had a very comfortable stay. Walking distance to the beaches and the Camps Bay strip where there is a lot of choice for food and drinks. Special mention to Concy who was very welcoming and recommended a tour guide called Nick for our hike up Table Mountain. Nick was excellent - we did the India Venster trail which was brilliant. Nick was so knowledgeable and took some amazing pictures of us during the hike. We stopped for tea/coffee at a great spot on the trail - the views were spectacular. Thank you to everyone at POD for an unforgettable stay.

To be honest , I expected more from this hotel seeing that it advertised to be a bespoke 5 star luxury boutique hotel . In the comfort room, the face basin had black mould at the base of it , all around it . That was a big turn off . My luxury room was a bit of a mess because a piece of furniture was in the wrong place which made it quite uncomfortable for me to move around. The room is already not very spacious due to how it's built . It was eventually moved but I think this should've been fixed before I entered the room. I was actually shocked that no one thought it would've been a problem before I reported it. The toilet also smelled very bad - on entering , every single time .I wasn't happy about at all. Other things in the room were dirty , the light switches, other miscellaneous items with food stains etc.. Bed sheets did not smell fresh . It had a thick bleach scent . These things are little fixes that need to be done . I didn't enjoy my stay in my rooms at all. But , everyone had lovely smiles and warm greetings and paid attention to our needs and wants. Service was great: ) Keen attention has to be paid to the cleanliness.

Cute boutique hotel in camps bay, in walking distance to many restaurants along the waterfront. Nice breakfast and swimming pool overlooking the ocean. The beds are on a raised platform which is a potential tripping hazard and could be a problem in the night.

POD Camps Bay exceeded our expectations for our four night stay. The service was fantastic and the team really took care of our needs. The breakfast was amazing and on days we left early we had breakfasts and coffees ready for us! The location is very walkable to many restaurants and the waterfront!

The POD is located one block from the beach, which is very convenient for walks along the beach. Due to the proximity to the main road you can hear some traffic noise so it is not te most quiet location. The views from the hotel are limited due to a building in front of the hotel, however from the balconies and the pool terrace you have some partial ocean views. The rooms are in very modern and nice design, really nice. The balcony is quite large with partial ocean view. The bathroom is open space with a big shower space, but limited space at the sink which stands in the middle of the bedroom, so this might not be everyone’s cup of tea (I prefer separate bathrooms - yes I know it is mentioned on their website). Storage space is also a bit limited. Please note that the mountain rooms are very small. Overall nice rooms with great design. The pool is heated and relatively small, but big enough for laps. Nice pool terrace with partial ocean views. Breakfast has limited choice (in particular the fresh fruits are a bit limited), but they have excellent fresh fruit juice (orange and some mixed fruits, all excellent). They have very good cereals with nuts, also excellent. Last not least I also liked the eggs Benedict. Overall a good breakfast with good but limited choice, What was really nice was the super friendly staff. They greet you and have some nice conversation with you, really very nice. You don’t get the same luxury service as in a leading luxury hotel, but this friendliness is unique and well appreciated. Overall a good experience. For design lovers this is definitely a great option.
