One&Only Cape Town

This hotel was absolutely beautiful but definitely a bit overpriced. The rooms are beautiful and spacious but we were a little disappointed with the housekeeping as there was bird poop on our balcony floor and even after telling them to clean it they didn’t. For the price we definitely expected more. The location is perfect for shopping and the aquarium. Breakfast and room service food were all very good.

I accompanied my son who had to do the final touches of the lighting at a new restaurant at the hotel. From entering the parking in the basement at the hotel, we were treated respectfully by security. The butlers were dressed colorful and received us friendly. Being a bit early for the job we were shown to the coffee shop by the restaurant manager where we were treated to a complimentary coffee where we had a beautiful view over the canal. The hotel manager Ann, made it her personal business to come and meet us....which we highly appreciated. With all this hospitality in mind I can really recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay near the Waterfront Cape Town.

We stayed 3 nights in August 2024. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with big luxurious bathrooms and hella amenities. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel. The bar makes excellent craft cocktails and serves great food too. The breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious. I would highly recommend staying here, and look forward to trying One and Only in other locales. Service at its finest!

What an amazing experience we had staying at the beautiful One & Only Cape Town. This was my first One & Only experience but I am sure it will not be the last. The attention to detail by ALL members of their team is truly exceptional. But in particular I would like to take the time to mention the following staff for their excellent level of service: Sam and Fambaza who were our breakfast hosts at Harbour restaurant and Isola. They were both extremely attentive and helpful and always welcomed us warmly to their restaurants. Navron on reception who was always there with a welcoming smile to answer any questions we had regarding our stay. Amelia and Zoe from Vista who went above and beyond to cater for our afternoon tea, even seating us in the most perfect seat with an exquisite view of Table Mountain, Zoe even reserved the same table for us when she knew we were returning for dinner. Filamon the host who was there each day to great us after our day of exploring, welcoming us back to the hotel with a genuine smile and enquiring about our day. And a special thank you to the concierge team for organising such an amazing trip around Cape Town in a helicopter, nothing was too much trouble and were genuinely happy to assist us with the booking. This place is truly something special and I would encourage anyone who has not had the pleasure of visiting to do so. You arrive as a guest and leave as family.

I returned to the One & Only after staying there in June of 2021. Now, it’s been remodeled, and the rooms and public areas looked amazing. Upon check in we were upgraded to an Island Suite, each one being almost 1700 square feet. One for us and for our daughter who is 24. These rooms without a doubt are the best in Cape Town. The fireplace with black and white marble, the area rugs, the chairs and the bedroom color scheme was very soothing. I have stayed before at the Silo, Cape Grace, and Table Bay, but this has been the best stay in the most beautiful city in the world. The service everywhere including at Nobu one of the hotel’s restaurants was perfect. I met the manager, Dee who was always on top of things and overall the staff could not be any better. The hotel has a great location in the Waterfront, next to restaurants and stores. Up on entering the view from the lobby of Table Mountain is breathtaking. On my next trip to Cape Town I will only stay at the One & Only.

The hotel was very beautiful and accommodating. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very nice to come home after our daily adventures and eat at the hotel restaurant/bar. Top service from Rocky made our Capetown trip special. Each of the restaurants on the property served great good. Had island superior suites and they were lovely, spacious, well-appointed and very cozy.

This is a wonderful hotel, the staff were very hospitable and helpful. The views are incredible. In particular, bartender Ashley is amazing. We enjoyed the food, the room, and the drinks. We will definitely be coming back!! Thank you for everything!!

I had the worst customer experience with AVIWE MOSALA, the Reservations Manager. Her arrogance and unwillingness to address the reservations issue were unacceptable. Thanks to Yazeed and his team for their efforts, but I will not be returning or using this brand again!
