Just spent two nights at this lovely hotel. The reviews are spot on. All the staff (and the owners) are so nice, friendly, helpful, happy etc etc etc. Our room overlooked the garden and pool area. Breakfast and lunch were both excellent and lunch was reasonably priced. They serve cake everyday at 3pm which was a lovely touch. Mercy checked us all in on arrival and Marley saw us out. Ismail drove us to the V&A Waterfront in the hotel’s vehicle and picked us up promptly, always with a big smile. Loved our room key fob which is a map of Africa! Can’t rate this hotel highly enough….

This boutique hotel is perfect for people wanting smaller intimate experience. We totally loved the staff, they were so kind. Lovely breakfast! We particular enjoyed the coffee bar and snacks they offered. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge area and chatting over a coffee. Was peaceful. We loved our bedroom, and a room with a bath is always the best for me. Also a place with a very interesting welcome drink is always so special!

We wanted a small hotel with good service, good reviews and in a relatively safe area. The Zest reviews stood out for us and we kept asking ourselves, 'They can't be that good can they?' They were!! We booked months in advance and some reviews suggested using the hotel for tours. We contacted Yaseen and had a painful experience in obtaining information and called him as well. We understand that Yaseen is no longer employed by The Zest. Moving onto all the positives. We had Room One which overlooked the pool. The room was comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches like buds, makeup pads etc in the room. Breakfast was an amazing display of fresh fruits, cereals, fruits, cakes etc. There was a cooked option as well but we didn't use it. Tea and coffee was available all day and not forgetting the afternoon cake. Everything was self service but the lovely staff insisted that we were on holiday and they serve us. My wife needed advice on having her nails done and reception recommended and booked a salon. My wife extremely pleased with the result and the price. She also used the Spa in the sister hotel for an excellent massage. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they always checked the Uber driver that we booked. Like many reviewers we have been privileged to stay in top rated hotels and the service level at The Zest is equal and in some areas above.

Villa zest is without doubt our favourite place to stay in Capetown, this was our 3rd visit and we are planning the next already. The wonderful staff, amazing food, fabulous location ( being a short walk to the waterfront) tick all our boxes. This Boutique hotel has everything. Thank you Villa Zest. See you soon.

We have just spent a 2 night post cruise stay at this wonderful boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They are a credit to the hotel. Our room was modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fantastic choice at breakfast and coffee and cake available in the afternoon. Good location and the hotel offers a shuttle service to the waterfront at a small cost. There is a small swimming pool and garden area as well as a roof top garden to relax . We would definitely choose this hotel when we return to beautiful Cape Town. Cannot recommend highly enough.
