It was absolutely amazing. Location is excellent: easy access, although quiet. Right across the beach and a few minutes way from Cape Agulhas and hiking trails. The hotel is very nice, beautiful and the family rooms is from a different level. All details were considered to make it a perfect stay. The breakfast is excellent: good quality ingredients and tasty food. The staff brings all this to a different level. You realy feel welcome!

We choose this hotel due to its convenient proximity to Cape Agulhas which is a 10 minute drive away. The hotel is situated on the coast in Struisbaai. The manager was so friendly and welcoming. There is a large lounge and honesty bar for the guests to use, which is a wonderful feature. We had the place to ourselves and it was fun to be a bar attendant for the night! We also had a massage the next morning, which was reasonably priced and very relaxing.

Booked 8 foreign guests on my motorcycle tour, unfortunately there was no moor room for the guides. Will definitely return.

Excellent faculty located right opposite the Indian Ocean. Our room was superbly appointed, with a very comfortable bed and deluxe soft furnishings. Large bathroom with a powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Special note for Monica. A charming and caring host. We were welcomed with a big smile and enthusiastic greeting - 1st Class

We stayed one night at Chateau de Marine. On arrival, we found that we had been upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was beautiful and roomy. I had three places with tables and mirrors to do my hair an makeup! On finding that we preferred tea to coffee, the receptionist instantly appeared with a kettle and tea bags for our room. Breakfast was great and the waiter and cook were so friendly and chatty. The pool was clean and refreshing and the honesty bar was large and delightfully furnished.

This was a real find. Beautiful room, well equipped with an honesty bar if you needed it. Lovely restaurants nearby and Monique, the hostess was amazing and couldn’t do enough for you.

Very friendly staff offering a very comfortable clean room. Lovely touches such as bottle of dessert wine on arrival and spacious smart bathroom. The room and bed was extremely comfortable and lovely views onto the ocean. A freshly cooked breakfast and helpful friendly staff all added to a nice overnight stay on our visit to the most southerly point in Africa.

We recently spent a few days in Struisbaai and had a fabulous time. Monique and the Chateau de Marine Boutique Hotel team took excellent care of us. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very satisfying and had plenty of variety.
