Portasirena Agriturismo

Could have been almost perfect. We have been to the restaurant only. We were 3 familles 5 adults and 5 children (10 to 14 yo). We asked for a " little bit of all the antipasti" to share amongst all of us instead of one per person. We have been served with 2 times all the antipasti available so 18 antipasti for all of us. We did also order other plates for the secondi piati. This was way too much and not professional from the restaurant. We felt like tourist from whom they wanted to optimise the revenue. We had to ask for a doggybag not to waste all We had too much. Of course we did complain and no gesture was given, not even the usual limoncello. I rarely complain about restaurant and I have 100+ review, so be careful when you give freedom to the restaurant. Appart from this, the food is good, also the food is relatively raw and not really worked like in fine restaurant . The outside terrace in summer is really good and fresh. Local wine was ok too. We did pay at the end 45 euros per person including 5 children so very expensive for the area and for the quality. It could have been a good experience but it was not as they confuse us with a wallet with legs...

Potential not Realised Great pool area and restaurant for outdoor dining. Excellent dinner featuring local products. The accommodations were tied, very small and the aircon was old and inefficient, and noisy. Check-in was poor. Nobody at reception and when we found someone there was almost no information provided. Our documents were not taken nor was city tax collected. The check in lady appeared to be on her own - tending to the pool bar and not attending to new arrivals at the hotel. This place has a lot of potential to be much better.

Beautiful Agriturismo near Paestum. The food was amazing and wine selection extremely broad. Our meal was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The host was very nice and the room was comfortable. The grounds were amazing and the pool was out of this world gorgeous. Breakfast was served outside by the pool and substantial and featured the patron's local products. The farm coop has over 1500 head of buffalo . Thanks very much for letting us see and enjoy your beautiful farm. Grazie mille Michele e Lucia da Toronto Canada. Excellent stop over on our way south and to see the Paestum archeological site. We stayed in a family suite with 2 bedrooms containing very comfortable beds and super clean. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, especially due to Marco's friendly and patient service. Highly recommended.

Location davvero suggestiva , personale qualificato e professionale. Molto attenti alla cura dei dettagli . Il vero agriturismo!! Abbiamo assaggiato quasi tutti prodotti a base di bufala , davvero ottimi . La materia prima è eccezionale. Anche i dolci sono tutti fatti in casa . Complimenti!

Viste le recensioni di varie guide, abbiamo provato questo agriturismo: il locale è molto curato e quindi non è il classico agriturismo, ma di "alta categoria" molto curato e con un servizio molto preciso con personale molto cordiale. I primi ottimi, delicati al gusto, eccezionale la bistecca di bufalo, mentre la parmigiana mancava di di gusto. Prezzi nella media. Consigliato
