L’hôtel est authentique, la chambre est très propre et distinguée, le personnel est gentil, je recommande surtout la sortie catamaran avec l’hôtel c’était top !

The hotel has the amenities applicable to its 3 star rating however lacks hygiene & good service. Our room was spacious with good washing facilities but had a shortage of clean insect free storage for clothing it would benefit from a deep clean. We were located away from the pool so didn’t attract the noise from that however it was close to the busy road & noisy. The main restaurant is mostly buffet service & can be extremely frustrating with serving platters often left empty without replenishment. There was a lack of regular monitoring of food levels & when empty platters were reported, there was still delay in their replenishment whilst food was prepared. Quality hotel buffets have staff checking levels & preparing food in anticipation of a refill. The food choices were reasonable, when available but some lacked flavour & quality. Service in the restaurant & bar areas was often very slow & haphazard. Staff were regularly seen congregating in groups & lacked peripheral awareness of waiting customers & some lacked knowledge of basic waiting skills We addressed this with supervisory staff several times & received the same response, ‘it’s only their second day’. This apparent training on the job might explain some of the poor service issues. The majority of staff were friendly although some were surly & others looked unhappy in their environment. We found the All Inclusive option irritating. Instead of perhaps some form of (environmentally friendly) wrist band to identify those with the AI package, guests give their orders to staff who write on a carbonated pad & when a guest leaves they have to sign for their orders on an itemised (zero balance) receipt. We found we often had to wait for the ‘bill’ to be prepared & delivered instead of just leaving when we wanted to. This rather outdated method appears to suit the hotel’s administration rather than favour their guests. It also creates considerable paper & ink wastage by the hotel. We also observed a fair amount of unnecessary paper usage by reception staff on a daily basis. Somewhat inefficient & hypocritical I feel due to the hotel’s regular mentioning of their ‘eco’ credentials Bedrooms have a mini fridge described as a ‘mini bar’ for AI guests. However guests have to stock this themselves from the hotel’s shop. Something we’ve never experienced before. Neither have we experienced tea & coffee being loose in paper bags.The milk is powdered & also in a paper bag. According to the hotel this saves waste and promotes an eco friendly environment. In my opinion it’s cost cutting by the hotel & unhygienic, (with staff handling the teabags to count a few out to each bag-as witnessed by us). Many hotels around the world contribute to an eco friendly environment and still supply their guests with quality and sterile tea/coffee making facilities. Coin de Mire Hôtel is an absolute delight! The staff are warm and attentive, the food is incredible, and the service is excellent. We enjoyed a peaceful mid-week stay with soothing live music and a truly special birthday celebration. The team went above and beyond, from the personalized cake to thoughtful surprises, making every moment unforgettable. Huge thanks to the Bar & Restaurant Manager Vish, and the amazing team for their hospitality. (Atish, Mohammad, Giana, Manuella and Isabelle) If you’re looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Our family stayed in the Coin de Mire Attitude Hotel in Mauritius and from our arrival late Saturday evening we had excellent service and helpful staff. There was a variety food choices at breakfast and dinner and everything we tasted was delicious. The water sports available on the beach inclusive with the hotel stay from the glass bottom boat, snorkeling, SUP and Pedalo were all well enjoyed. We hired the catamaran for day trip to the islands and this was a highlight, we enjoyed the beaches and a delicious lunch on board and snorkeling. Some tips are that the bus service comes right past the hotel and is super cheap and reliable - can take you from the north to Port Louis in just over an hour. Take your water flask as the hotel has numerous water fountains and you can access cold water which is drinkable. This is super helpful. Do the cooking course which is free of charge and you get to eat your efforts. Try the Mauritian cuisine it is super tasty. Lunch is available at the Taba J restaurant near the hotel pools and Yash is super helpful and he makes the most divine tamarind juice and lemonade and the dhal pourri is a must! We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be back!

The Staff and everyone was Friendly. Yogesh,Gita and Kevin were all Friendly and guide us during our experience in Coin de Mire.I hope everyone who come here have the same experience.The foods and drinks were awesome.Even the Swimming pool was cool.

So this is a good 3 star clean functional rooms. Nice showers always had hot water, eco friendly. Food could feel limited only if you were a fussy eater. Fantastically helpful for me as I have a gluten intolerance chef abi went above and beyond if I could not find what I wanted on the buffet he was happy to cook chicken steak or other items. Gluten free pancakes available for breakfast and at tea time, great selection of currys loved the Mauritius table for food in the evening. Our friends loved the stir fries and fresh pasta dishes. My husband loved the fresh fish. Highly recommend the tab j and Yash was a superstar he does an amazing job. Great place for lunch loved their birianni. You must try the kit nu restaurant the tapas Mauritius style loved it. We visited several times and each time the food was amazing - thanks Chef Abi and Yash. Great water sports team very happy to take you to a beautiful beach around the bay away from the boats. Loved the kayak padelboard and peddalo so nice that these were included glass bottom boat and snokerling also worth a go. Overall can say we had a lovely time only grumble I have is that I would have loved to has visited the other attitude hotels nearby to compare for a revisit but staff said they could not arrange this as the other hotels were to full. We would have liked to have visited during the day whilst people were on day trips so very disappointed this could not be set up as advertised on the website. Big thanks to some amazing staff who made the trip Chef Abi Yas vish Florian and also the general manager who help us sort out an extra nights stay after of flight was delayed. Great team . Would recommend this hotel to others as it’s a great base.
