This is part 2 of 2. Please read part 1 which we posted January 2025. We have just spent 11 weeks at this hotel which is amazing mainly because of the staff. We think it shows the level that this hotel is at when over the course of our stay standards didn't drop once. As mentioned previously some rooms and mainly the pool area requires some refurbishment, which the hotel are on with doing, this is very much a 4 star hotel with 5 star staff At the end of the lane the hotel is situated on is Fort Aguerdo Road, the main road through Candolim. At the lane end you will find loads of restaurants and shops of various wares. Also over the road from the end of the lane is a lane that will take you straight down to the beach and the beach shacks. This lane is about 300 metres long and again lined with shops and a couple of barbers If you want to go to Candolim beach road it will cost you about INR 300 in a taxi from the hotel, you need to barter sometimes. We originally booked 8 weeks here but loved it so much we cancelled our 3 weeks stay in Thailand and stayed here the 3 extra weeks. We ate in the hotel restaurant 2 or 3 times a week because the choice and quality of the food produced by Prasanjit and his talented team was always excellent. At breakfast each day the hard working Mahesh and his tireless team of waiters were always smiling and polite and seem to anticipate what we wanted. We think also a special mention should be made to the following waiters Gopal, Diwakar, Bharat, Udhaba, Royston, Muna and Ajay who all looked after us at some point throughout our stay. We never tipped any of the staff at breakfast until our last morning but we were still given the same high level of service, courtesy and smiles throughout the 11 weeks we were there. Which is a credit to the staff there. Around the pool Ram continued to diligently look after us. It seemed almost all the staff walked around with smiles on there faces, particularly Jay, who was always smiling. A special mention I think to Sanjay too, always working quietly in the background to keep the reception and public areas spotless. The front desk team led by Deepesh continued to give us the same high levels of service when we had need to contact them. Over the course of our stay, we had 4 different lads who cleaned the room and all did it to a satisfactory standard, but one in particular stood out, Rabindra, the room always had a nice clean smell to it after he'd cleaned it for some reason. This happy talented team is well lead by Ambarish, the hotel manager. He was always around and very approachable. Always checking to see if we needed anything to improve our stay and recommending places to visit. He was a brilliant help with us when we changed our flights to extend our stay too. We hope the owners of this hotel really appreciate the excellent team and leader, they have in place here. Because its our appreciation of this team that has made us book to come back here next year on 2nd Jan for 12 weeks
