Casa Santa Maria Tatajuba

I spent one night at Casa Santa Maria on a kitesurf downwind trip along the Brazil Nordeste coast. I wish I had stayed longer. The place is welcoming, relaxing, peaceful, and nicely decorated. At the centre of the pousada, under a large sand floored wood construction, a comfortable sofa stands as well as the breakfast and dinner table. Next to my room was the pool, actually more a small swim corridor. The room was very spacious with a lot of space to store clothes and luggage. The floor and the walls are all white painted. Everything is clean and well appointed. The bathroom is also very spacious with a well functioning hot water shower, which is not always the case in Brazil. I had dinner at the pousada, and the food was very good. Alexandra, the pousada owner, inquired about my preferences for dinner in the morning , which was very thoughtful. I selected octopus with rice, potatoes, and a pumpkin puree, which was very good. The dessert, a lemon mousse, was not up to the starter and the main course however. Staff (unfortunately not speaking English) were very friendly and professional, going to great length to accommodate my requests, whether it was cleaning the kite equipment, finding a different room from the one that had been initially booked or organising a massage. I highly recommend Casa Santa Maria for a stay in Tatajuba and would be most happy to return.

Expérience inoubliable! Endroit paisible et magnifique: déco sans faute de goût ( simple et raffinée), discrétion, amabilité et efficacité du personnel. Les petits déjeuners et dîners sont raffinés et copieux, un vrai régal ! ( poisson grillé ou langoustes top) Idéalement situé ( proximité immédiate plage et différentes activités possibles : kite, quad, cheval, fat bike, piscine, raquettes, jeux société,massage…) tout est pensé pour se détendre. Nous cherchions un endroit où nous reposer, nous avons a trouvé le paradis ! La Casa Santa Maria est une belle demeure habillée de l’âme d’Alexandra la Proprietaire. Tout y est pensé soigneusement pour faire de votre séjour un moment qui frôle la perfection. Les chambres sublimes, le petit déjeuner ou le dîner en mode table d’hôte, inoubliable, le SPA et ses soins relaxants. Planté dans un décor à couper le souffle (et souffle il y a), vous pourrez profiter de la plage, et de toutes les activités proposées telles que les excursions dans les dunes et ses lagons, balade à cheval, ou kite surf. Très central dans le petit hameau de Tatajuba, vous pouvez let déjeuner face aux spectacle des voiles qui naviguent dans le lagon au Sunset Beach, un café /restaurant assez inattendu. Nous avons adoré notre expérience et plus encore d’avoir croisé la route d’Alexandra, vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés !
