We are less than 2 miles from the Kentucky Dam and KentuckyBarkley Lakes recreational areas offering plenty of boat hookups located throughout our spacious parking lot for our boaters and fishermen. Our huge truck parking also offers plenty of space for trucks and RVs. We are located near many other Kentucky attractions including the Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway Land Between The Lakes American Quilt Museum Venture River Family Water Park and approximately 30 miles from Harrahs Metropolis Casino.
We provide our guests with a free light breakfast item together with your choice of coffee tea and juice in-room coffee makers iron ironing boards free morning USA Today newspaper and free wireless high speed internet throughout the hotel. Our business center is located in the lobby for guest use. Each of our guest rooms has a microwave and refrigerator and 39 inch LED TVs offering high quality television with HD channels. Housekeeping cleaned my room and put blooded sheets on one of my beds. The guy upfront said since you have two beds just use the other. He stated that dried up blood won't hurt me

Helpful and nice staff!
The lady was nice and she helped us realize we booked a smoking room instead of non-smoking and was super helpful with changing that with no extra hassle!

Could not breath in the room due to bad smells. Asked to be moved and the next room also smelled. Did not feel safe in the room next to staff room.

1. Keycard not working. They gave us the wrong key sleeve.
2. Air conditioning not turned on. Apparently it needs to be done in the office.
3.Safety Lock parts missing - I cut myself. Office provided a band-aid.
4. bugs in the room. Determined to be Brown Stink Bugs. Staff member told me that the cleaning staff told them that they come in during the spring, but not to worry about it because they are harmless.
5. Cracks in the ceiling.
6. Peeling paint in the bathroom shower stall
7. Holes in the linens, apparently from cigarettes.
8. TV remote only working partly. Unable to select channels, need to key in each station number.
9. Drapes covering the window next to the door had a hook broken and would not attach properly. No privacy.
10. Carpet in stairs caused me to trip.
11. Staff member called the room at 11:15 pm to check on the issue. 11:15 pm?
12. Bathroom door stuck after taking a shower.
13. Stains on chair in room. It looked like someone had dropped a slurpy drink on it.
14. Coffee maker in breakfast area broken,
15. I walked through issues with staff member and was told, yes it is an old building.
I didn't want fancy, I just wanted clean. Not what I've come to expect from a Wyndham property.

Shower curtain comes out of the wall. Bathroom dirty. Hair dryer burned and was never replaced. They told us that housekeeping would be on the third day, but no.

The 2025 reviews were good but the 2024 ones scared me but we took a chance. Us and our two kids stayed for one night and had a great time. The room was great for $70, clean enough. The check in was so fast and the front desk girl was too sweet. The room doesn’t smell, the heat was great, water was hoootttt, fridge was cold, we enjoyed.

Basic but what we needed
We just needed a place to crash for 7 hours on a road trip and didn't even use the shower! The beds weren't the most comfortable but we slept fine. The room was a little shabby in places but seemed perfectly clean. Room smelled a little musty when we arrived but we got used to it. So, no complaints. Staff was friendly. Great option if you just need the basics.

Good, but try not to look at the color scheme.
Affordably priced. The heat/ac had a wonderful setting to make the room cool enough with a steady fan noise to help me sleep great all night long. Breakfast was bare bones and nothing good for someone needing low carb breakfast options, but they had yogurt, so I found something edible. My only real complaint was the ridiculous color scheme. Nothing other than toddler's toys should be acid green! The bedspreads and the walls were far too loud and painful to stare at. Whoever their decorator is, he was off his meds that day.

This hotel was the worst experience I ever had. Was told during check out why we were having issues and being moved 4 different times. The second floor never hardly gets maintained. First room the tv had 3 lines in it and remote was chewed up. Second room we had a smoke dector kept beeping. Guy at the desk told us to take it off the wall but that is unsafe like crazy. Plus it was wired into the wall. Then the next room is the heat was blowing out straight cold air during the night. Temperature outside was in the single digits so you can’t imagine the temp inside there. They moved us the 4th time and it was 2:00 in the morning and with it so cold the heater was having trouble keeping it warm. During checkout I mentioned our wonderful adventure it’s like she didn’t care and just said u just have to go thru ******* for your concerns. This sucks!!!!! I am never a complainer but this time something has to happen.
